Man, watching Romain videos over the last few days has reminded me that there is so much more to technical death metal than just blasting, or playing fast.

Plenty drummers can play double bass and blast beats fast as shit, but to play like this is a completely different level. Amazing

Yes... but the swivel isn't making the stroke. It's just releasing muscle tension. The stroke comes from moving the ankle up and down, basic single strokes.
