Glad I found you. Most YT techies don't know or understand there is a market for tv's under $2,000!
We're going with the Q80B QLED. This will be our 3rd tv in this search for the best at our budget. Already returned the LG OLED 48". Picture was vg but Alexa didn't work, then we got very leary about the burn in. Decided to upsize to a 65". The LG OLED 65" got too pricey so we went for the LG Nano 65". Horrible picture, horrible color. I mean really horrible. And, when I tried to fine tune it, most of the settings didn't do anything. I tried every setting. Only a minor improvement. Our 10 year old Samsung LED still performs extremely well and outshined the Nano 10x over.
Samsung has never disappointed so we're going back to them. Fingers crossed this will be our final tv in this round.

Hey Steve, can you please advise how to fix or best adjust the motion test bug, I own the Q80B, and when I see characters walking I notice some sort of a delay, like the pixels arent keeping up.. I dont know how to describe it much

The black on the 80B is so bad. Now I don't know what to buy, was going with the 80b

Ironically the 85a is better than the 85b in a few areas such as viewing angle, reflection handling, contrast, black uniformity. The 85a has a glossy screen whereas the 85b has a semi-gloss screen. It's just that it only has one HDMI 2.1 port.

Hi Steve, there is a new software update for the QN85A. Is t possible that you could check it out and see what the update does. I have no other way of finding out for myself.

Recommendations between the Samsung q80bd ($1200), LG QNED85 ($1400), & Vizio OLED series ($1300) … all 65 inch tvs from Costco… or would you say it’s worth to invest more to something like an LG C1?

Thats a comparison I have waited for! In my country the 65" Q80B and the 55" QN85A is in similar price bracket and I wondered how the 2 compares...If its worth to go for a tad smaller TV or not. I think 55" will be enough with that picture quality.
