I do everything on my phone right now so I'm using the Rode Video Micro. So far so good, I can always upgrade later.

That microphone is more feature-packed than my new RP...

So the mic used for the actual video sounds better than the two clips you payed.

After being disappointed with the RODE videomic Go (too much popping sounds) I bought a RODE videomic Pro only to discover exactly the same thing. Walking with the RODE attached to my DJI osmo mobile 3 gimbal and Samsung S10 plus I still get these annoying pops which therefore makes the audio useless. Question? Is the popping sound due to the movement of the mic in its cradle as one walks with the gimbal set up? Or is it something else. I would hope that someone could enlighten me. Thank you for your posting.

Just upgraded to this mic today but can't get the auto power feature to work. I did verify the feature is not disabled. Using a Canon 80D, am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated!

This video is awesome but Peter for the sound comparison the first two had a deadcat and the rode videomic pro plus was the only one without. Does it make a slight change on indoor sound without or with a deadcat?

Woah! LOL. The Old setup, never seen this pre 2018. Also, that Steve jobs bobble head though! LOL. I have a RodeMic Go, and it broke on me, tape does wonders! lol. But it's so ugly with the tape on it and the actual mic falls out now. I should have bought this Mic in 2017, when I bought my camera. But I went cheaper with the go. :(
