I strongly suspect that this webtoon and "I think I'm gay" aren't even drawn, they're just those games (applications?) for creating characters, maybe I just can't accept that someone has a worse version of wikihow's art style

As an artist, I feel like this comic was not FULLY AI generated, but that parts of it were actually drawn but AI was used to “fill out” the details.

One big caveat with AI is that it struggles to make a figure look consistent within multiple images: when you submit a prompt, it gives you several iterations of the same image, with the results using different styles.

The panel with the cat is interesting, because the cat itself looks AI generated (the aliasing in the eyes is strange, it has no mouth, and some of the stripes look a bit veiny) but the face of the guy feels more like it was drawn by hand. The next panel with the cat has it in profile, and it looks like it was actually drawn there.

Several of the images look like AI that was “cleaned up” to keep it generally consistent. It wouldn’t look too bad if the artist knew how to clean it up, but the issue is that the artist seems to struggle with anatomy and is leaning too hard into the AI images to make up for it (which AI just is NOT good at whatsoever, it has no concept of anatomy, only stylistic patterns).

Also, part of the cheap look of it also seems to be because not only are panels constantly reused (which isn’t as noticeable in better drawn comics) but images of the character are recycled into different poses with no time taken to reshape the anatomy. So, an image of Clara sitting will be reused for her while she’s walking, only they keep her upper body looking stationary and just redraw the legs.

I feel like instead of the text being ai generated or somethign, i feel like its poorly translated instead 😭

i don't think this was made by an ai, at all, honestly, i think that it was made by a foreign group of people who don't know english very well, most likely those same people who make those awful my story animated videos... the art is too clear for an AI program, dude, this is what an AI program WISHES to be... because trust me, just because something is bad doesn't mean that it's made by AI, i've seen some of the most awful, low quality rubbish ever and it was somehow created by an actual, functioning human beings who just didn't care enough or were too stupid to realize how bad their media is

Based off of the syntax of how the english is written, it seems that it is just Korean directly put through google translate. I am fluent in both English and Korean and this just gives off the vibes that it was written in korean and very lazily translated as the grammatical mistakes and lack of certain bridging words is similar to how google translate would convert korean to english
