South Korea needs to do the same, in fact all of East Asia (aside from North Korea) and Singapore needs to accept more immigration due to their low birth rates.

I may understand the fear of Japan losing their culture and history, but for one. Japanese people aren't dumb enough to let that happen. If immigrants do come to the country, the government will place them in some sort of school system that educates them about Japanese culture, history, language and laws.

Two, with a population of 120,000,000, bringing in about 2,000 to 4,000 migrants yearly is not risky compared to the main population.

Third, the fault of falling birthrates is Japan's fault because of workaholic behavior, lack of social interactions which brings new relationships and being too stressed out about success instead of taking failure as a part of life. All of that prevents couples and families to procreate new life.

So. Dear Conservatives/Republicans, Japan and the Japanese do NOT align with your political views, just as with the Democrats. If they did the left wing vs right wing, Japan would be completely rendered retarded.

They are know to take work so seriously that they no longer choose to have kids.

Glad for them! The majority of them are abusive employers. Most of the heavy works were passed on the migrant workers while the majority of them are just sitting around talking :)
