i dont want a 2 in 1. they are making a non 2 in 1 version right? because if not thats a terrible decision by dell. if im slapping down 2000 for full specs i dont want it to be a 2 in 1

I'm honestly not sure I get the larger 2-in-1s as a concept. So you draw on it or whatever... what happens to the other side? The keyboard and trackpad on the bottom, don't they risk getting messed up on whatever surface you're on?

Finally a computer that can beat the spectre X360 in terms of power. Perfect match for someone working across the whole adobe suite on the go, without the need of an additional Wacom tablet. Im getting this over the upcoming 9570 with 1060 and hecta core.
After using a spectre x360, Ive gotten so used to flip the computer arround whenever working with graphic design on the go. But not powerfull enough with medicore U-processor and mx150 graphics. Selling it to finance this!

they admitted it processor isnt really 8th gen, its a 7700hq with radeon graphics strapped to it. guessing they started working on this before they finalized 8th gen 45w processors

Good thing theres a reg version coming out. This seems cool but the XPS 15 was just such a solid laptop.

Id rather it be a bit thicker, and have a nvidia dedicated graphics card and some USB ports.

hopefully the XPS successor has this 2 in 1 hinge thing as I find it quite cool albiet probably redundant 99% of the time.

The XPS 15 2in1 is a really BIG 2in1 laptop, and would be (very) bad in tablet mode. And fyi, this thing is made for people who need a laptop for drawing or illustrating, or using a stylus, it's gonna be good.

Thank you for posting this. About a month ago, I purchased the 9560 with the 4k monitor, and 32G Ram and absolutely love it. But was curious what the upgrade would offer. I'll stick to what I have. :)

As a student, going to university this September, I really want to wait for the new XPS 15 in late 2018, but really need it end of the summer. Should I buy the 2017 or hold out, with a random spare laptop until the new one? Will it be worth the wait?

I think what you're missing is the fact that the 4k display on this thing is the best on the market. 160%rgb with hdr. Better overall than even the macbook or surface book. It makes it ideal for a convertible, as I can use it normally (work, gaming etc), then chill in bed watching Netflix in tablet mode.

This one is great to watch porn while you’re in bed, put in in tablet mode to have the fan blow the air out. the regular xps will have the heating problem if u lay it flat on your blanket, it’ll be on fire 😍

how is the sound on dell xps 15 - 9575? I've heard in one of the reviews that it's not the best and now it bothers me. P.S. Using currently Macbook Pro 2015 and if the sound is at least on the same level, I'd definitely upgrade
