This song always makes me think of my ex boyfriend Kurtis. He loved playing this album in his car when we would drive around the city, and in the mountains. He went to Afghanistan and lost his leg at war. A couple years later he left this world just like Chester did. R.i.p.

This was a song that saved me so many times. It was on repeat from 7th grade until I see the reality of this world at 30. Everyone is so different yet the same but their anger covers their souls. We want freedom, but freedom of what exactly? We will never be free. The reality of freedom won't come until the sun sets for you. Find comfort in the shadows. Eventually, the tiny things bring you happiness to keep going ❤

11/11/23 Sometimes solutions aren’t so simple. Sometimes goodbye is the only way. I’m 43. Raising another kid that isn’t mine who’s 3. Because his mom chose Dick n Partying over him. I lost my jobs. Yes, more than one. I’m struggling everyday now. Thank God he’s out of pull-up. Struggling to pay all the bills. All the while his egg donor gets to live the life that I once had. ( I worked and paid bills and helped family out etc… Didn’t party or hangout with friends honestly. Just always worked and saved and worked on my mental health.) Now I just want to end it all. I’m so over life. Saying goodbye to everyone even My Son as everyone knows him as. Even telling him goodbye because I can’t be the Dad he needs. Bills are piling up. Stress is nonstop. He’s taken care of regardless. He don’t have to want for anything. I am just mentally and emotionally and financially exhausted.
