What size did you cut the rectangles?

I just discovered your channel. You are a natural bright light of a teacher, so positive. I have been quilting for many years but I tend to stick to my same 4 or 5 free motion stitches & want to branch out. A friend just gave me a black & white jelly roll so this split rail pattern might be just the right quilt to do that. Thank you.

Hi Angela, I love this quilt. I made mine about 3 yrs ago and its still my favorite. Doing the different patterns on ea strip was so exciting...this was the funniest quilt to make it actually made me happy...as a new quilter I was able to practice the different designs...I felt accomplished when done..and I felt like a real quilter.. I havent stopped since ...Thank You, you are so inspiring. ❤

I was a hoarder. Got rid of over 2000 yards in the past 6 weeks. I do have some scraps guilt as well. Still have 2 large totes of scraps I haven't dug into yet

We haveto match seams whe sewing rows together. THATS where I have a problem. Haveto have blocks ironed different ways?
