Ca hai dua be deu /The two children both
khoac chiec ao moi./ wore their new coats.
Nguoi nong dan/The farmer
da vo cung hai long./was so satisfied.

Trong mot ngoi lang nho/ In a small village,
co mot nguoi nong dan ngheo/there was a poor farmer
cung song voi gia dinh minh /living with his small family
trong ngoi nha nho./in a tiny house.
ong ay co hai dua con/He had two lovely children.

va nhoi day bong vao ben trong./and stuffed it full of cotton.
Ba ay dua cho con minh/She gave her child
chiec ao am nhat/ the warmest coat
ba tung lam. / she had ever made..
