How can we have, by typing only the first few characters have an available selection in the list of companies. Because I have a list of 500 values, I want to filter them as I type..

Thank you for this! Very much appreciated! But may I ask a complicated question? Is it possible to have a drop down list populate the cells below it? Context: I have a drop down list with the values 1 to 25. Is it possible for me to select one of those values and have a row auto populate with that number of cells in ascending order? i.e. I choose the number 12 from drop down, and a column populates with 1 on say C2, then 2 on C4, then 3 on C5, etc. etc.? I have been looking EVERYWHERE for an answer and no luck.

Only thing I had issues with was changing spreadsheets before putting the comma after I selected the table range. Gotta select that range, then add the comma, THEN switch back to the right spreadsheet.

This is very helpful but I was curious if there is a way to not only have a drop down list but to also be able to type and have the list narrow down the results. I have a list of over 600 companies that I am trying to sort through and would love the ability to not have to scroll through 600 names.
