Wow,nice city
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI’m doing 4 nights in Venice, 6 nights in Florence, and 3 nights in Milan. I’ll pay for an itinerary!! 💜💜
ОтветитьGreat info. Traveling to Rome in February. First time traveling overseas. Staying in the San Giovanni area. Any tips?
ОтветитьOke lek
ОтветитьHere to support!!!😊🎉❤
ОтветитьExcellent guide, so helpful! I'd also add another tip for Italy - ATMs most times dont charge fees but some bank ATMs are known to charge fees nowadays also, I recently got charged 5 euros at a bank ATM- so its worth finding those without fees. Then I used the ATM Fee Saver mobile app - it gives a list of the fee-free or low fee ATMs in Italy along with withdrawal limits for foreign card holders. I've used it many times and saves up on sooo much unnecessary expenses. Of course, decline conversion at foreign ATMs

ОтветитьWonderfull
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьDoes Italy have any Amusement parks ? Also I wanted to check out Sicily. Where would I fly into , and what things can I do there ?
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьTop notch content man! Headed to Italy next month, great tips!
ОтветитьI'm planning to visite Italy for ten days in August and honestly, your tips are very helpful. They cover pretty much everything and especially those tiny questions you have in the back of your mind, like choosing the right coach before stepping into the train or not bothering to save a penny here and there which reduces the stress level. The pleasure you have doing these videos is also obvious, so thanks for that as well.
Ответить@GregerBrown we are planning on our trip Huly 21 through August 1. ROME, doing Vatican, Coloseum and riding Harley-Davidson. Then it's off to Tuscany (by way of Florence, bulet train per one of your video recommendations), rental car,Livorno leaning tower of pizza, horse back, Vespa, Bocelli concert, then up to Milano (Via bullet train out of Florence) see lake Como, palazzo Reale, Duomo di Milano and that 25,000 sf Starbucks. Taking several of your recommendations with us. Ciao Italia🎉
Ответить4 cities in 7 days is crazy. I just did a week in Italy at the end of a 3 week Eurotrip and I spent 3.5 days in Florence and 3.5 days in Rome and could have stayed longer in both.
Ответитьskip Milan
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThank you so much for your Tips!
ОтветитьI'm sorry, as far as I'm concerned, you should always tip the minimum wage, hard working waiters at restaurants no matter where you are. It's common courtesy to show appreciation through an a minimum of 5% of the bill
ОтветитьI’ve been to Italy 3 times, and will again June of ‘24. After seeing the mandatory tourist/historical/religious sites, my favorite memory is strolling leisurely down the back streets, away from the tourist crowds. Staying in an AirBnB on one of these small lanes can really make you feel like a local, even if for a few days.
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьI appreciate the time and effort you put into the videos. Very informative and entertaining.
ОтветитьHi! About Internet another good solution for me is to get some eSim card with roaming I get very cheap 3 gb 30 days per 7 dólares base price.
ОтветитьGood job I like it😍🤗
ОтветитьThank you! Amazing tips!
ОтветитьWhen is now?
ОтветитьI have the same adoration for Italy as you do; it's truly a magnificent country! Very recently, I had the chance to visit Turin and capture some extraordinary footage, resulting in an amazing video. I'm eager to share it with everyone! 😍
ОтветитьCan Dolomites be included in the itinerary?
ОтветитьWhat he said about getting Euros from a ATM is 100% true. That is the best option, I walked around Rome with $500 in US dollars… never used it! A credit card for most purchases and restaurants and a debit card to get a couple hundred Euros from the ATM in small bills is all you need. Great video, good job!
ОтветитьI was in Florence 30 days ago. What an amazing city! Spent 6 nights there and it was still not enough time to see everything I wanted. Also went to Pisa and Rome. The food was superb. Trying to go back next year. Let's see what happens.
ОтветитьA decade ago I did a whistle stop tour of Sicily. Palermo, Enna, Siracusa, Agrigento, Modica, Trapani etc. well, I’ve spent the past decade going back and spending a week at each place I liked, be it a village in the road to San Vito Lo Capo or as last time; Cefalu. Next time I’m fairly sure it will be a week in Siracusa. Why stay so long? To soak. To relax. And also, like that time when the gelato man got to know us so the boy could walk up and he knew it was fragola in briocha. Or when I forgot my wallet at home but the barkeep said I should pay tomorrow as he knew we were there for the week. Find your pastry shop, find your spot on the spiaggia. No way you can see all of the world in a lifetime anyways, best to really find some place you can _know_.
One thing for travellers to Italy; enjoy the Italian-ness. Sometimes you have to honk your horn, sometimes you dance in the streets, sometimes those same streets are blocked by striking horse carriages, sometimes you have to shrug your shoulders, sometimes the Guarda di Financa raid the restaurant you are eating at. It’ll always go well and kids are always and in all cases welcome. And learn some Italian.
Hello! I'm italian, from Modena, i think that 7 days are not enought to visit all those cities
In 7 days i reccomend maybe :
-Tuscany
-Milan and lake of Como
-Emilia (Parma,Modena,Bologna) +Florence and maybe Verona
-Verona and Garda Lake + Venice
-rome and naples
-naples and costiera
-sicily
-sardinia
-puglia
Of course One of those Is quite perfect for a 7days itinerary 😊
For God's Sake, do something different and for once just jump Florence, Rome, Venice. Italy is so full of amazing places and you always suggest the same 3, it's a shame. You want a northern tour? Turin, Bergamo, Treviso, Trieste. 4 Amazing cities. A southern tour? Caserta, Matera, Lecce, Ragusa. You'll be out of the tourist traps in a second and in for the true experience. Also, Tuscany has never been and it is still not Northern Italy. There you have it.
ОтветитьWhat about flying into Venice and then next visiting Milan/Como area? And then taking the train to Florence and finishing the trip off in Rome?
ОтветитьI've been to Milan and to the Cinque Terre. Funny enough, I've just discovered your channel as I'm considering a week in Italy, to visit Rome, Florence, Venice and Verona. Your tips are so, so helpful!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHey! Great job, but in Milan we don't only have the cathedral. You forgot to mention Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper", the most famous painting in the world together with his other masterpiece the "Mona Lisa"(unfortunately in Paris). We also have the most famous opera theater in the world: Teatro alla Scala. Then I recommend Accademia di Brera art museum, Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia "Leonardo Da Vinci", Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (known as "the living room of Milan"), Castello Sforzesco next to Parco Sempione with the Arco della Pace, i Navigli, Colonne di San Lorenzo, Piazza Gae Aulenti with the Biblioteca degli Alberi, and there's much more...
ОтветитьPlease get an Airbnb. Its Cheaper and great views you don’t get it from hotels . Lake Como got the best Airbnbs in whole Italy.
ОтветитьCan you take a pushbike on a train?
ОтветитьIs there a particular power strip and/or adaptor that you recommend?
ОтветитьFantastic video! Do you think November would be okay to visit? from USA (Midwest)
ОтветитьWe want to go in August, what do you think of that month in Italy? … good videos btw
ОтветитьHi Gregor. This is the second of your videos I’ve watched. Compliments on the content, video production quality, and no BS fast pace. 👍
Regarding data plans, I’d skip right to getting a local data SIM. Home carrier roaming rates are a rip off. For voice calls (often needed), I use Skype and get a phone number. It’s useful and cost effective. It also allows me to call my home voicemail.
Hi, what would be a nice Italian city/province that doesn't get much tourists that would be highly desirable to visit???? Any advice or tips??? Thank you.
ОтветитьFor the South tour, I would recommend Rome > Naples> Bari (Puglia) where visiting Polignano a Mare, Matera and Albero Bello is a must > Positano if you have time :) might as well
ОтветитьMilano is the beautiful metropolitan art , architecture and fashion events city !
ОтветитьI know Americans take short vacation but I would try to take at least 2 weeks for these itineraries. Alternatively, I would focus on one area (for e.g., Rome, Naples and 1-2 days in Capri and the Amalfi Coast), or in the North, Venice and Florence, or Milan, the Lakes area and Venice.
ОтветитьWhy Bologna?
