What about JBL soundbars?

I am honestly surprised that the Nakamichi - Shockwafe 7.1.4Ch 850W Soundbar System with 10” Wireless Subwoofer, Dolby Atmos, eARC and SSE MAX for under 1k was not on this list.

Can’t remember which Vizio I have but it came with the woofer and it’s great!

I bought the Vizio M213ad-k8 last year based on your review and recommendation of it. I have zero complaints on the sound quality and impressive bass for what it is. The only gripe I have is it very occasionally will not turn on and it needs to be unplugged and "reset" and it works just fine again. I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a soundbar only.

Can I connect my 4 ceiling speakers to the soundbar subwoofer

People have said the Q990C is tinny. Is the Atmos immersive? Yes. Does it make the room shake and get loud? Yes. But what I've been seeing is that the low to mid range is tinny. After comparing the frequency response RTINGS provides on the Q990C and the M512a-H6, it looks like Vizio has way less low to mid range drops and while the upper end is less neutral on the Vizio and has less super low end from the sub, it looks to be a way more filling sound. Will test.

I would like to hear your opinion on the Bluesound Pulse Soundbar+. I installed one this weekend, hooked up a Yamaha audio 10" 100W sub, and it's killer sound...
Some 'back info', I had a Definitive Mythos XTR-SSA5 and Polk PSW108 hooked up to a Marantz low profile (don't remember the model) receiver for about 10 years. The receiver died, and the sub was acting funky, so it was time for a new set up. Plus I just replace a 2017 65" LG E7 with a 2023 LG 65" C3 (E7 in now the 'basement' TV). I got the LG SC9S soundbar and sub, did not like it, gave it a couple of weeks but it went back to the store. Took the Bose 600 from the basement TV to give that a shot, OK, but neither were close to the Definitive. After some research and looking at Polk, Sonos, Sennheiser and Nakamichi (not the Dragon, I have a small to mid-size space), I liked the look, specs and the ability to plug in any decent 3rd party sub into the Bluesound, plus the ability to add wireless rears down the road. It not only came close to the Definitive, but surpassed it. And it's very simple plug and play. Plug the HDMI into the eARC port, plug the sub into the sub-out port and it just works. Plus the BluOs app is really easy and offers a fair amount of options and control.

So no one is going to talk about those trumpet skills?

My company (Sonova) just bought out Sennheiser about a year ago or so, and I gotta say, I'm pretty stoked. As a musician and a hearing care provider I love seeing the best of both worlds. Sennheiser and Sonova come together. Sonova is the largest hearing aid manufacturer and Audiology company and are now combined with what I consider to be a big underdog in the acoustic arena. Things are looking up.....and also, the employee discount doesn't hurt either. :) Looking at the Ambeo Max. Looks similar to the Dragon model.

The Vizios looks great, sad that in my country, its price il almost 75% more expensive that in the US due to import…

There's a major power difference between the Samsung HW-Q995C and the HW-Q810C. Is there a massive power jump for the sub or just everything thing over all.

Basicly, is there the noticeable difference bass levels between the 2 setups? I'm looking for the one that has more bass to work with Q-Symphony on my Q80C

Sonos Beam Gen 2 and 2x Era 100's for me. Under £1000 here in the UK and unmatched for their size to performance levels. The wifi pairing, and the experience as a whole is unbeaten.

I cannot decide to wipe away my tears and take the Samsung Q990C, or stay with the Q930C with its more reasonable price. The Q990C is 210-237 EUR more expensive where I live. Unfortunately the best Samsung I can try out in a store is the Q800C... (which was really nice compared to the Q700C).
What do you guys think?

The 990c is about 750-799 here. That's probably worth it more than the sonos system, which holds it's price very much, right?

I'm still using a 5.1 Philips setup from like 2007-2008, which is totally obsolete because it only has optical in (and stereo RCA) from a TV. I really want to upgrade to a modern system, but I'm just so damn used to the sound and that makes me scared. I'm eyeing the Sonos Arc and Sub, but that's a lot of money to gamble on. The Dragon is out of the question because that's way too expensive, and I really don't care for the aesthetic.

I start to stop seeing the point of sound bar systems above $500. At that point and above, they are doing battle with true home theater options with direct speaker supplied surround sound that is flexible and tunable for room size. A $1200 sound bar is going to get it's lunch taken by an equivalently priced home theater system from Yamaha or Denon. They are simpler, for sure, but it's like spending 50 grand on an economy car with leather seats to taxi people. It'll work, but there are options that destroy it for the price.
