A simple + effective RETINOL nighttime routine | for ALL skin types

Help! I've been using the Paula's Choice 1% retinol treatment for a few months, pea size amount, 3 times a week, doing the sandwich method (between layers of moisturizers). But my skin still peels! When does it stop??? 😆

I have been using 0.1% Tazorac for about 10 years (I am much older than you). I feel I need a booster to help it as my skin seems to be at a standstill. I am wondering about using the Youth to the People Retinal and Niacinamide serum before I apply the Tazorac. Is this too over the top?

My skin type is combination dry & acne prone. I just started using Retinol (encapsulated) two weeks ago and I layer it with Niacinamide, every night. And my face is really glowing when I wake up, I’m telling you. The acne scars are getting brighter too. I’m definitely gonna stick with this nighttime routine for a long time.

May i know if i can use two serums in one time ? Like niacinamide serum before retinol serum

Sorry but adapalene is not a retinoic acid. They are two completely different types of retinoids. Please don’t spread false information. I love this channel but don’t do that.

I started to use kiehls retinol serum. I decided for this because they told me its good for starters. I can see improvement on my skin, but it is slightly more dry than normally, so i use it every second day. I shall see but it better work since it was not cheap

I follow similar steps but I'm using tretinoin after my serum and befor my moisturizer. I'm in my 50's. I'm in for the long haul and started with the .025 and slowly moving up. I agree, a good moisturizer and other supportive ingredients are key when using vitamin A's.

I've just started using retinol. did ALOT of research and watched ALOT of videos before starting. I bought the Good Molecules Retinol cream, it's a low dosage great for beginners. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I put my Paula's Choice 20% Niacinamide on before I use it. only use 3 times a week and then moisturizer. It's slow but I have been seeing some improvement in terms of my acne.

Can anyone suggest essences/toner and moisturizer that don't have hyaluronic? I hate hyaluronic

Is retinol in squalane as helpful as other retinols?? I am using the one from the ordinary and heard that in squalane it coses more akne

Can we use retinol always or just for some period and then have a rest from it?? What are the time periods and the length of using retinol?

I’ve been drinking Ashwaganda and Tulsi tea and it really helps with the digestion of food and calming me down. The smell is horrible and pungent, you just get used to it. I add some jeera to reduce the smell.
