I'm really surprised that when he did the quickie about Kwangerrangs cutting off Mammoth's trunk (which I had never seen!) he didn't point out also that mammoth can set the oil slicks on fire himself. I'm also surprised that when he was pointing out that Storm Eagle is fought on the plane, that the plane crashes into Spark Mandrill's stage, you can recognize bits of the ship as wreckage when you revisit the stage and the power's out. Two things he could've pointed out with one screencap and a half a sentence to follow on what he was saying.

If something like this was made nowadays, it'd just be a video essay dryly going over the same points with minimal editing in their gameplay. It's alright if you make some really interesting points, but the amount of work put into this video ALWAYS gets me coming back to it.

Core principle:
To make a cool series of moments of gameplay in video gaming, you need a lot of elements put together.

To not overwhelm the player, you need to introduce those elements individually in a controlled environment.

Tutorial is only as necessary as the peak of the gaming experience requires to be peak.
