You Cannot Leave this Discord Server!

Watching this video, and I was checking my discord and I see that I have a hook bot trying to get me to join some servers

it happend to me before but after countless times of leaving i finally got to leave and be free

thus happened to me before! I was in a server that I never joined with a person which im friends with now. anyways. I was invited into a server called "BLAST!" and when I left I couldn't but I did it somehow...

(this probably happened bcuz they were botting them)

I have been into over 100 of these servers im stuck in. I have seen so much bad stuff, like child porn. Thanks for the video.

Well that is quite an ironic sponsor. Wonderful video explaining how intricate these scams are, but why would I want to then run my business through Discord via something like Whop? Lol. This is the exact reason I went with a service like MoonRoom for my trading community. Fed up with all of the spammy discord bots.

fun fact: if you are there and you don't know how to get out (because you haven't seen this video) break all the rules you will surely get banned and then you leave the server

my discord account got banned kinda the same way, I couldnt leave 3 servers, then boom, banned for spamming

Man, I fell for this sort of thing once, and I ended up joining a bunch of NSFW servers. Thankfully, I managed to leave them all and quickly disabled bots from messaging me and making me join random servers. I feel bad for people who get stuck in these servers

I think that better solution will be option to dissable this option by default and it will take some effort for user to turn it on and if this bot will invite you some times discord will ask you if you want to disable this bot permision to do that and dissabling it will be easy while enabling want be hard but will take some time and warning popups

You have blown my mind on Discord, I thought it was just a place to talk to friends. Discord is just as scary as all the other services.

the best solution probably wouldnt be to remove it but to display a message on top when a bot added you to a server saying something like: "Bot X added you to this server. If you didnt want this, you can deauthorize this bot by clicking 'here'."
