Mario Lanza "Ave Maria" from "Serenade"

I often hear this music internally. while doing the most mundane tasks. Why does it repeat ? Why does this happen ? Can anyone explain ? Japanese South Koreans hear this internally. So do Muslims in Malaysia. Why does this happen ?

I have heard too many singers deliver this in a near monotone. Lanza's performance is so rich and sonorous it stands above all others.

I'm from millennial generation and I've read Mario Lanza mini biography. I came here to listen after read his mentor conductor Serge Koussevitzky told him "Yours is a voice such as is heard once in a hundred years.".

I am not remotely religious, but was raised with a wide range of music and singers. I am 47, but heard a lot of Mario lanza through my parents. To this day I still love his singing.

A sweet sound that caresses the ears rather than assaulting them. As with many other opinions printed here, Lanza for me is the most beautiful operatic voice of all time. His tragic early passing kept Mario Lanza from being recognized for what he was. The most exquisite voice in Operas long and glorious history.
