Very nice tutor!
ОтветитьIt was really amazing video.
ОтветитьI am using Arango for a C# WPF app. Arango is the BEST database I ever used. It beats MongoDb and SQL, for what I'm using it for, which needs all 3 model (document store, graph, and search engine). The documentation is not perfect and if you're doing a huge scale web app in the Cloud you might want to go with something else. And there is definetly a learning curve. But for 90% of us, it's awesome. I love how I can simply code object and some simple queries, and everything just works and maps to objects. No need for an ORM. No need for any special code. Just plain old simple objects! Graph traversal is very nice. I did not knew I needed this in my life before seeing it. Note : I have yet to use the Python driver... I only used the C# for now. Also, if you find bugs in the C# driver, the Slack community is very helpful and Arango employees actually fixes things...
ОтветитьGreat tutorial, thank you.
ОтветитьI go with "uhrayngoh" because I don't say "mahngoh" for mango and boomer-wrong for boomerang.
ОтветитьThat's pretty cool. Going to try it out for the graph features, maybe in parallel with a postgres database for aggregations
ОтветитьTanx. It is really helpful
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьGreat Tutorial. Just wondering if there are production usages of traversals up to 8 or 10 levels of depth with dataset sizes returning couple of millions of records. We used to force fit and hack the graph use cases into Oracle until now and are seriously considering replacing some of these use cases with Arango Graph. Any suggestions or concerns around its ability to scale?
Ответитьbusque puto python con arango y me mandan esto
ОтветитьIs there anyone who used arongodb for a real serious project in arongodb?
Ответитьany way to keep the collection named 'hi-fives' ?
ОтветитьBrilliant tutorial thanks man
ОтветитьThis. Found it!
ОтветитьMind-bending-ly good, thanks!
ОтветитьLooks like a really cool db. IMHO the graph handling isn't as good as in Neo4j, though. The Cypher language seems far more intuitive for making queries and building models. They also have some ways to go for visualization.
ОтветитьPut in description please: 👉 docker run -e ARANGO_NO_AUTH=1 -p 8529:8529 -d --name test-arangodb arangodb
ОтветитьOne of the nicest tutorial . Anyone knows how to get some real world tutorial with node.js or php?
ОтветитьPls come back
ОтветитьREALLY complete overview of ArangoDB, thank you.

Hi! If you are looking for web designers that can do all of this work for you at a very low price, click on this link and have a look at how many differnet creators can help you. This site is very well known and world wide.
Could you please make videos to teach us how to make an e-commerce website using html and css? That would be really helpful since I literally find your videos the most helpful.
ОтветитьCan just someone answer me please? I'm just confused between choosing Arangodb, Mongo and Postgres. I want to begin a startup idea and code that. but I want to use a NoSql database with Web Gui Panel. unforunately mongodb does not have Web gui and Arango have. but can I trust Arangodb team for developing in the future?

"There is no right or wrong-o way to say it"
missed opportunity. Still love the vid
There is no right or wrong, let's call it "AwrongoDB" 😂😂 - but seriously, ArangoDB is a great tool!
Ответитьavocado db
ОтветитьI use MariaDB ^^
ОтветитьI love your content, gained a new sub. But i have a request if your taking them. Lol
I'm looking to buy some websites and run them for profit, could you explain the workings of how to sell an ebook or anything really on a site. For example, how do you get paid from it (is it as simple as linking your paypal) how does the site know you got paid and then allow someone to download said ebook? How do affiliates work?
I apologize if this is not your area of expertise or if i am wasting your time, your just a great source of information and most places assume people already understand the basics.
I enjoy it thanks, man.
ОтветитьWoow long time missed you Corey Ms
ОтветитьOh not more crap to learn.
ОтветитьBullshit being sold with bullshit arguments
ОтветитьI`m from Ukraine and i high five to the president lol
ОтветитьThis is fucking awesome. I mean the whole thing, including this video. Thank you!
ОтветитьThe features are really nice but the queries do seem quite slow...
ОтветитьI am kinda new to programming and I would love to hear your, and other people in this community thoughts!
BUT my take is that you don't want to do too much work on the database, and when it comes to collecting, filtering or other stuff you want to do that on each computer. I got this idea from the torrent, more computer will always equals more power than one regular computer, that's why it' good to divide the power instead.
So I just feel that it's dangerous when you sell this ArangoDB for it's programming benefits when it feels like that it would make it easier for people to take the road for putting more effort on the server.
But then this feels super strong when it comes to graph and small company/organization
So I still see strong usage in this, thanks!
Thanks a lot sir...
ОтветитьWill!!! Back again so soon! and even better, seeing as its backend content!! :) Would love to hear your thoughts on if it makes any sense to use GraphQL with a GraphDB like Arango, and your thoughts in general on GraphQL. Industry seems to be pretty divided at the moment. Ive only recently built a small project with it and trying to decide if it makes sense to invest more time with the API. Im not a massive fan as of now but also dont hate it.
Thanks again for the great content!!
Glad to see you back so soon!
ОтветитьNice video
ОтветитьJust awesome! Support ME!
