Target folder is not there on Git, does it contains tests, can we create an empty folder by name target to store test report.

I have a small question, I am just a beginner and learning things on DevOps.. why this project called devsecops? Even though it's just a simple pipeline of maven.. or its like if we add any testing tool it will be called as devsecops?

just a question- when you added maven tool in jenkins global tool configuration so what does it mean?
It will install maven on the node(maybe master or slave if running on slave) ?
