ОтветитьThank you for this! Question, do you know why Etsy won't let customers write a review for a certain amount of days after their order is delivered? I have had several customers respond to my customized, will you please leave us a review, message, saying that they would absolutely love to leave me a review because they love their item, but Etsy wouldn't let them do it until at least a week after it had been delivered! Do you know why?
ОтветитьThank you Cassiy! I have learned so much from you! I have a question regarding reviews. I am a very new seller and have made a few sales, one of them being my mother. :) She told me she wasn't able to leave me a review until a specific date even though the package had already been delivered. My shipping range was 3-10 days and even though the shirt was delivered, she still has to wait until after the 10th business day which seems so silly. Is there a way around this? Would you recommend just sending that second message after that last business day (which I changed to 5 because I'm impatient lol). Just don't want to lose out on reviews. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your content and knowledge. I just started by POD Etsy business a couple months ago and these videos have been SOOO helpful! Quick question, what do you do when you get a purchase from a guest on Etsy. It shows their email in the shipping details but I’m not sure if it would be appropriate to send them an email instead of messaging them on Etsy since that is not an option. It’s only my second organic sale and I really want to work on customer service. Any advice I’d really appreciate :)
Thank you Cassiy! for your amazing video tutorials. I have a question, hope I am posting at the right place. I just launched my Etsy POD store and had my first sale. I should be very excited but on my very first sale the customer actually wanted to return in exchange for a different size and color. I set up my store polices just like you did that returns and exchanges are not accepted because it’s POD. I also provided very clear size chart and color chart. But it still happened, already on my very first sale. It’s kind of discouraging and concerning for me. So I am wondering if it is possible for you to share some statistic, roughly, on the percentage of customers that make return/exchange request, and do you actually refund/replace? Thanks so much for your help.

ОтветитьThank you for bringing it up. I do think the hardest part of this is the customer service aspect. Sometimes having the right responses and what to say in your arsenal is vital. Maybe a thought for a future video lol... Because when starting out, its overwhelming when you get those first few complaints and the proper way of handling them.

Ответитьwe're just starting out with our first Etsy store, and have been watching your videos every day! i really hope you see this quick question - we had just created our store over a week ago, & the DAY AFTER it got suspended! there was no email from them, and I already submitted an appeal. but it's been over a week & we still haven't heard anything from them :(( rough start. any tips? i only had that 1 dummy listing that i've since deleted. nothing else.

ОтветитьIs this normal? I followed up with a customer and asked her to please leave a review (per the instructions in Cassiy's tutorial). The customer received her purchase on 3/31 and attempted to leave a review on 4/3. Etsy is telling her she has to wait until 4/12 to leave a review. This just seems odd to me. Is this normal practice on Etsy's part?

To even break even seems like a challenge. I have printify premium but not sure of the discount per item ("as much as 20%" doesnt give me the numbers I need). ОтветитьThank you for another wonderful video. I have a question to ask. Does Etsy only allow the customer leave reviews after certain days? Very often the item arrives earlier than estimated date, but it seems they could not leave the reviews immediately.

I have a question that deals with customer messages....Do you have advice on what to do when it comes to handing a one star review....once you have fixed the situation for the customer? The exact example is a customer just left me a 1 star saying I sent the wrong color shirt. Since then, I right away reached out to her, and sent a new sweatshirt. Is there a way to now circle back to her and politely word a message asking for her to update the review?

I wasn't doing this practice yet, but would like to incorporate it into my system. I haven't had that many sales yet, but the last one happened last Thursday. I think the item has bee delivered by now. Is it too late to send a message hoping everything turned out great?
The other question is, if I'm running a small sale continually but also automatically send customers a 15% off code after they purchase, do those sales get combined and give the client 15% off PLUS whatever continual discount I offer? Thank you!
Hello Cassiy!!! Thanks for another great video. I have questions for you. I haven't opened my shop just yet. But I put in my message to buyers section that customers can cancel their orders within 1 hour after submitting it. Does the customer have to send me a message asking to cancel & I cancel the order in Printify? Or is their a cancel button on the customer side in Etsy where they can cancel the order & I don't have to do anything because it's automated?

ОтветитьI opened my ETSY store followed all the rules, used placeit and merch informer to ensure I am only uploading copyright and trademark free designs and in 3 days they permanently suspended my store without any clear explanation. This is not as easy as it sounds and very discouraging 😢 😔

Do you renew your listings all year, even the holiday ones? Or, do you let them expire?
If they renew all year but get little or no traffic, does that hurt the listing score?
Conversely, if I deactivate them for half the year, does the listing lose its “juice” in the algorithm once it is reactivated?
I am not as worried about the renewal fees as I am about which way of handling holiday listings is actually best for the listing…

ОтветитьHey Cassiy- I purchased your profit calculator and I love it! One thing-- I noticed it doesn't include a spot for POD Sales tax (i.e. what Printify charges you for a product). Is that lumped in somewhere or left out? Also, I heard two things but not sure if they're true about reviews (haven’t found it in the Etsy seller handbook yet): 1. I heard you are not allowed to ask for a 5 star review 2. You are not allowed to offer a freebie in exchange for a review. Is this true?
