Just thought i would give my two cents, but i really prefer the AMVR facial interface, i had VRCover before on my Index and didn't like it, no ventilation holes or anything so heat just builds up, but AMVR has that and that's kind of essential in my opinion since the headset gets warm.

It also adds rooms for glasses, so your glasses don't get smooshed, not to mention its a bit cheaper.

I dont know why but everytime i run FS2020 i see more differences everyday between normal HD grapchis and the HP reverb V2 , is like i need more definition with the v2, or maybe its my setup!

where I get the foam head inserts?

Are the blue light filter lenses only available from the US?

Which studio form balencer kit is suitable? 100g or 200g?

I bought the lenses some time ago and never regretted the decision, infact I wish I had done it earlier - they are brilliant

The Only option I did not get are the VRwave lens inserts rest I bought and use VR cover slim pad & Studioform balance kit since you first showed them on your channel and won't fly without it and highly recommend them too. Thank for you good advice. We need ac fan option kit now during this heat ;-)

I’ve been using those inserts for over a year 👍 I simply velcro’d an old battery pac on the back for perfect balance.

I just bought a -1 lens insert. Should make a difference. Thanks, Steve. I opted for the blue light filter, but opted out for the anti glare. Is there ever a glare in the G2 ? I would think the headset is too tight for that.

My VR wave lenses work as advertised and I really have not had the bad experiences others have had. I also have the balance kit and that works very nicely.

So glad I got all 3 of those add ons in my used reverb g2 purchase.

Ooh I'm going to get some of these. I need astigmatism lenses. It makes such a difference plus I did not know about the motion sickness thing.

My experiences with vr wave are diabolical customer service liars, great at sending copied and pasted replies on more than one occasion that I made contact with them, they arrived EVENTUALLY after 2 1/2 months without the blue light testing kit all the way from CHINA but they are good but so would other lenses with the correct prescription.

Definitely agree with the VRCover facial interface for V1 of the G2. The original face plate is so narrow it pinched my nose and was quite painful after a while.

I much prefer my G2 now I've added the bobovr halo (was for a quest 2 but a heat gun works wonders) and added the F2 fans to a facial interfacce I modelled and printed myself. No more steamy lenses, and is confortable for hours :-)

I have the Bobovr F2 fans for my Quest 2, which really help cooling your face. I wish fans like these would become available for my G2 too. So your 'HP Reverb G2 fans!' opening gave me a bit of false hope ;) Big thumbs up for the Studioform kit. I wasn't sure if I really needed it, but it does make the G2 even more comfy.

I have VR Wave inserts and the left insert doesn't even stay put, falling on my eye while playing. They are made of soft silicone which doesn't really snap or hold to G2 well. Faulty design at best.
I also have VR Optician and those are made of plastic, snap on properly and stay in place.
So I would argue about 'the best on the market'.

The one thing that would make me buy a G2 would be a wireless connection upgrade. I refuse to buy anything from Meta as they're just too predatory.

A small usb fan is a godsend for comfort, it also helps with any initial misting, agree re the blue light filters, no more puffy eyes after extended periods in VR
