Corkscrew Fasteners for Chair arm covers will fix the head liner, cheaply...fixed mine fine.
Ответить$50k (after fees and taxes) for a basic truck still seems like a lot. They need to be less in this economy. But people love debt.
ОтветитьThe headliner Is deal breaker for me
ОтветитьBest vehicle I've ever owned. 2007 with 210,000 no major repairs.
ОтветитьI went with a 2013 Honda Pilot... The Ridglines were ridiculously expensive compared to the 2013 Pilot EX-L I bought... Love this stupid thing.
ОтветитьI love the laughing animals
ОтветитьI have a 2020 RTL-E and Love it.
I could have bought the more manly truck (insert GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota) but this vehicle fits my needs and if we are being honest, probably 90% of truck owners.
I have about 55k miles and not one single issue (almost time for some new tires).
I do dislike the Infotainment that comes with the truck but other than that, the vehicle has performed above my expectations.
Just my 2 cents.
Motortrend truck of the year. 2006 & 2007.
Ответить2008 owner. 394,000 miles. Starts 1st crank. Need to replace front suspension but otherwise no real issues. Motor runs great. Knock on wood.
ОтветитьTire pressure monitor effects alot on a Ridgeline needs to be working!
ОтветитьThe 5 speed tranny isn't what it should be. Tow mode should be 4th gear. It needed a paddle shift. Mine is a 5th gear sniffer!!!! Engine needs some more balls. But, I like it. Put on a good set of Michs, but the worn General types were quieter........go figure! I'm not happy spending $1100 on them. Bought my '09 RT 5 years ago 124k miles and "0" rust, I mean "0". It's starting to show some signs of rust on the frame, but that's all. All regular maint was done on it by the previous owner. Looking to do the timing belt since it had about 165k now. Based on OEM parts, it's really only gonna cost me $300. I can't complain about that.
ОтветитьI have a 2007 with 149K and it runs like new! Love my Ridgeline.
ОтветитьI have an 08. I bought it brand new $21,700. Not good for anything , but ok for everything. I have 86,000 miles on it. It gets 11.5 to 12 mpg in the city. Tows 5,000 lbs very well. I have gotten 20+ mpg on the highway.. I drive it ever day. One new set of tires, timing belt, struts, and 3 batteries. I change the oil with Mobil synthetic , and transmission every third oil change.. Great Truck
Ответить434,000 miles and still running strong. Thank you honda 💪
ОтветитьIt's front wheel drive first, therefore 4wd use is rare. OEM Michelin tires have great traction and ride with no noise. Should refresh the trans oil with the 3.5 quarts with honda fluid every 30k miles. This is as easy as a motor oil change. I have a 2008 with 240 k miles and a list of all the mechanical issues. Biggest one was a rear seal replacement before 100k miles. Just did valve cover gaskets and tappet adjustments. Had regular timing belt changes at 100 k miles. Each of those reminded me that you could easily go 125k miles or more. It doesn't use oil and used Honda semi-syn exclusively 5w 20. Great oil. 4500-5,000 mile intervals. It's tough, tows 3500 lbs all day. Would have preferred a larger bed for a lite camper so that would be the only reason for me to change brands.
ОтветитьThere are several gen1 older ridgelines reported out there with over 400k miles and no major repairs. Pretty impressive.
ОтветитьScottie, what do you think about the 2017 Ridgeline
ОтветитьI just wish Honda would make a full size truck version and join the truck big leagues! I love my Ridgeline- it does 75% of what all the other trucks do and then everything else better (like comfort and versatility). A friend tried to sell me his old Tundra for 8k whilst my Ridgeline is valued at 4k, yet the tundy felt like a piece of junk by comparison. If Ford F150 is really #1 selling truck in America, then Honda should wake up and crankout a bigger truck and clean the market!
ОтветитьPickup truck... to haul 4 potted daisies back from the nursery.
ОтветитьGuess what ,it not a pickup truck. Not at all
ОтветитьHe didn't even talk about the fact that it actually has a trunk and the bed gate opens up like a door as well as flips down.
ОтветитьLoved our 2006 Ridgeline, quarter million miles. Ran well. Dead solid reliable. Sold it to a friend, got a Taco. Missed the RL so much, bought another, an '07 with 75K miles. RL is not built for heavy towing and hauling, but we have a Ford F-450 for that. Great for road trips and around town, light hauling and towing.
ОтветитьIs there a site to get free car reports?
(Like a free CarFax?)
That’s low miles keep it
ОтветитьThe Ridgeline is hardly a pickup truck let alone a truck. Lol. Only good enough to haul a guy's jockstrap that's too smelly to be in the cab.
ОтветитьGood for getting plants and mulch from the nursery but not much else.
ОтветитьProud owner 2006 RTL hands down the most reliable used vehicle Ive ever purchased still going strong with absolutely no issues mileage: 301460
ОтветитьI love my 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Now, I’m having an issue with the key not opening the door. My only way to open the door was with the key fob. Replaced the battery and it died on me after a few months smh. I thought it was odd they only made a key opening on just the driver side and not the passenger side.
ОтветитьThey aren’t the best looking . But I wouldn’t mind one or a Honda pilot same generation . I’d take it over a dodge any day just for the reliability
Ответить06 139k miles it's been over Imogene pass in Colorado. Still runs good
ОтветитьHey Scotty maybe you know how to do this because I'm having a difficult time finding the information. I am looking to turn off the engine braking on an 07 underage line I like the Ridgeline but that system sucks, along with of course all the bells and whistles all the alarm charms and stuff are really annoying like the seat belt one or the back windows open I really like to find that alarm in the dash and put a drill through
ОтветитьGreat vehicle, miss mine!
ОтветитьI have an '06 with 135k miles on it. Kept up with regular maintenance and it runs great. No issues...except for a sagging headliner!
ОтветитьI'm a Honda guy, I currently own a 2016 Honda Accord, thinking about picking up one of these older Ridgeline's in a few years. These are great for what they are, & it's all the practicality I'd probably ever need especially for a daily driver for the odd times I do want to pick up somethin & need a bed or a small trailer to do that with.
ОтветитьThat's my next vehicle.
ОтветитьLove my Honda 2006 Ridgeline truck! I have 189,000 miles. Original owner! Needs a paint job but overall still great truck! 😊
ОтветитьScotty, What do you think of the 2024 Honda Ridgline vs 2024 Nissan Frontier?
ОтветитьGreat review and spot on as usual! We have a 2006 RTL Navi sunroof in near perfect condition. 192K and runs great. I do the timing belt/waterpump every 90K. Love this truck. The factory electric locker was a surprise. My wife learned to drive in the snow when I was working out of town. She was leading the line, breaking trail for 60 miles in 6" of snow her first time!
ОтветитьWhy is the Dodge pick up truck upside down 👇😅😅😅
ОтветитьMy dad has an 06 with 365k and all he’s had to do is 3 timing belts and 1 rear main seal and still Running solid! Just a couple of brake jobs and timely oil changes.
Ответить170k on my 06.. every factory options. Light years better than Tacoma i had. Ride quality is Ahhhhh
ОтветитьOn 1 of your other videos u were saying the Ridgeline isn't a good truck to purchase 🤔 so which is it 👀
ОтветитьHad my 06 for 16 years, 240,000 miles. Sold it to a young airmen who fixed it up and it’s still going. Unfortunately my 2019 got smashed by the hurricane but I plan on getting another one. Great for towing and home repair center runs.
ОтветитьJust bought a 06 with 145k and will check the recall for rust.
ОтветитьVery much enjoy my 2017 Ridgeline. Super versatile vehicle, and very capable. Can I go offroading with it? No. Can I tow 10k pounds? No. I don't need to though, and the vast majority of people don't use their trucks that way.
ОтветитьMy wife has a 2019 Acura MDX and I’m probably going to buy the Ridgeline based on how nice her MDX is.
ОтветитьI have an 09 Honda pilot with the same motor.. Over 200,000 miles and still running well.. Uses a qt of oil every 3000 miles.. a lot cheaper then a 800-1000 dollar a month car payment 🎉
ОтветитьToyota hilux is the best
Ответить
