Is this the most realistic Electric fireplace I have ever seen? (Dimplex Faber E-Matrix Review)

If I get a fireplace, no matter what style, I want the option of heat so electric style like this, surrounded in a big box of glass is a no go.

Why keep making fireplace without heating options? I want a realistic electric fireplace with a heating option. The customers that want a traditional fireplace live in 4 or 3 season states. We want heaters on cool nights. Jeez, it’s been at least 9 years and the technology has not been updated.

Very informative video as always. However, you said you were going to show us the Faber Matrix GAS fireplace as well but then you didn’t. 😩 It’s personal of course but I do not like how this looks, that mist is too annoying. I would like to see a video on the Faber Matrix GAS fireplace. Ciao.

Is there a possibility to get water droplets or condensation inside due to the humidifier?

It looks like a seathing volcano rather than a cozy fireplace.

I’ve seen the ones with the heater over 5 grand. If I pay that much I want heat that willl work when electric is out. Paying that much I’d rather have the real deal.

Really impressed with all of your videos - your detail and professionalism has been outstanding and really helped my decision on buying an electric fireplace. What is your opinion on Opti-Myst vs. Revillusion for flame realism? What would be your go-to if you wanted the most realistic flames?

I really like the Dimplex Opti-V due to it looking very realistic. However, it doesn't come big enough. The European Home and Regency Skope look maybe the next closest to being realistic. Looking for something at least 65" wide. Can you please recommend what would be the next most realistic electric fireplace. I don't care for changing colors, just want it to look realistic.

Kalfire E One is the most realistic electric fireplace to date.

I just don't get why this has to be so much more expensive than the old opti myst.

Building a house now and going with electric I believe for the fire look year round, without the heat in the summer. I really like the look of these water based ones and getting a water line to it is really easy at this point in the house build. I really like the 3 sided looking ones. Would you recommend this one over the other choices for electric fireplaces if I don't mind dealing with water?

Not a fan of the Opti Myst line. Reminds me of a fire about to burn out that’s smoking. Too much maintenance also.

The Opti-Myst looks 10 times more realistic, in my opinion! That new one has way too much of the watery smoke to look real. Looks fakey.

The previous models were nothing but trouble, I’d be staying away from these - fingers crossed they have addressed the design flaws
