We can do alchemy now. Just add a proton to an atom, and one has a different element. Just extremely expensive to do.

My take on these facts is that Newton was not only brilliant, but also gay.

Genius/ high IQ and mental illness may not be hand in hand, but they are definitely friends with benefits. Manny super smart people struggle with one sort of mental health issue or another. We also should be amazed that any science made it thru the inquisition. Christianity isn't fond of knowledge. Of any kind. Just look at the right wing here in the US. Campaigning against college education and public schools. The church understands that education and religion isn't the best match. They want people who can be told that the earth is 6,000 years old and was created by a magical old man in the sky.

It's curious why heavy metals weren't known for their toxicity being used and experimented with for 1000's of years including lead pipes way back in Roman days and Newtons high intelligence not even suspecting it. Dimethyl mercury would have outright killed him if he unwittingly made some. If he were only alive today. Thank you as always for your thought provoking and entertaining videos.

Addendum, Being so 'religious' why did he not believe some parts of the Bible but not others like the Holy Trinity? God gives wisdom to those who ask/pray for it so to understand parts of the Bible, BTW the Holy day is the day of rest or day number 7 which my calendar says Saturday which it was until Constantine had it changed to 'Sun'day, day of the solar sun NOT the Son. But another topic for another time/place.

Mathematizing things what allowed him to foreknow what will happen by calculations, and understanding the importance of accuracy. I don't think this kind of man would waste a minute of his time practising magic. Any proof of him as an alchemist?.

God child Jesus Christ and holy spirit which we called one creator and God are the creator of the universe. Issac Newton is just a person even he isn't more than selemo in the bible (I don't know how you spell it) he just discovered 0.1% of knowledge that God created. One day on the end of the world people pay attention to it. You'all will find out we have only one God.

Read "The Calculus Wars," by Jason Bardi. You will find that Newton, wildly curious to be sure, was an unsocialised dickhead while Leibniz was an internationally engaged, cosmopolitan polyglot distressed by Newton's lugubrious accusations. That Leibniz developed the Calculus is past dispute -- Leibniz notation is used today -- but it was Newton who proved to be small minded, plotting, and resentful. Not a quality of genius, IMO.
