I needed to hear this. In 2018 I started eating normal after being anorexic most my life. Now I am so miserable developed lymphodema. I will say I have been shamed and treated so much more inhumane being overweight then when I was not eating. People are much more mean to overweight people unfortunately. I had a few people joke back then say eat a burger etc. Now everywhere I'm shamed and I don't even eat alot. My body just was in shock not being used to eating. So I went from opposite small to LG.

Well, a size 8 is even classified as underweight.

I can relate so much to this. I was alway chubbier in elementary but at the start of middle school I saw all the “glow up” videos and decided to do that for myself. At first I started off good, I had a balanced diet that included all the types of food and I went on walks with my mom and did exercise videos. Unfortunately, I started getting obsessed with it, ended up it the hospital, and the doctors said I had anorexia. Now, I’m a freshman in high school and am working on not feeling he need to lose weight all the time. Though I am now a healthy weight, I struggle with realizing how much I do need just to maintain, because I am in cross country and my family is just always been more active than most. Anyways, I am writing this because I want to say that no matter what eating disorder you are struggling with, and no matter how severe it is, you can and deserve to recover. ❤

Why can’t we say that anything over a size 14 is bad? IT’S HONESTLY UNHEALTHY.

This vlog was so helpful. I was obese, got Atypical Anorexia, was 2 weeks from death, my stomach consultant saved my life while the ED team just watched me get sicker. Anyway I'm bk to being obese but relapsed in January into my anorexia again. Gp referred me to ED team but they rejected the referral because I haven't lost enough weight and not abusing laxitives like last time which isnt true. So my heads screaming that I'm not sick enough or thin enough. The ED services are screwed in the UK. Xx

Sophia's Wedding pictures showcases what a beautiful bride she was. She is beautiful and her testimonial is of great value. Size 10 never looked better for a classy, intelligent, beautiful wife that had a loving husband by her side all the way. Says a lot about both.

I am from Rhodes of Greece... and I have never climbed all the way up to this valley she is talking about because I am obese and I really can not do it. I feel like after seeing this video I want to climb "the butterfly valley" (which is not a valley but rather a mountain we just call it a valley for unknown reasons to me) I have just started my weight loss journey and I feel like I am not doing it in a healthy mindset so I really appreciate this video even though some parts of it was unsettling to me. Like the fact, you give too much power to men over you. Even if it is productive and good for you!!! I find that you should talk to him without having to get on a diet first and if he turned you down for your weight then you shouldn't want him anymore!!! Thank God, I think he is a great gay because I can tell you are happy... so with the "stupidity" in you... at least you got lucky!!!

How old were you when you started going to the gym? You were probably young. Your metabolism was very different. Older people 40s and up need to watch their diets along with exercise. You look amazing. Glad you’re healthy now. Thanks for sharing 😊

It is so brave of you to share this story. I too have struggled with weight my whole life. It is so difficult and especially with societal pressures and prejudices. Obese people are seemingly still the only acceptable targets of prejudice and ridicule. It's really sad.

Skinny white chocolate mocha !! Yikes

Also, side note.. I have done this. Micro management of my calories and excessive exercise. I used to be on the staircases for a minimum 90 minutes and come home and eat low fat ice cream by the tub.
Now, everything in moderation. Working out, eating and drinking. Diets don't work- research studies have proven this. I'm studying this at university and also the diet industry knows Diets are not effective but they still sell them.. if anyone is interested I can share books and other studies on this. Thanks Sophie for another awesome video!

I know this is an old video, but I looked it up because this is what I'm worried about. I've lost 29.5lbs so far and I've been gradually lowering my caloric intake since then from 1700 to 1500 now I'm eating 1300, but feel like I did a great job if I keep it under 1200.
I am feeling myself becoming obsessed with food and calories and being thin enough. (Currently 5'2" and 150lbs so I'm far off), but I am worried that even when I get to my goal weight, it won't be enough and I won't be able to stop myself from losing more.

I’m so confused, I have lost 65lbs I’m 129lbs 5ft8, I have no energy but I want to lose more it’s never good enough. I’m a uk 8 now 26inch jeans I wasn’t even this slim when I was at school. Everyone is now only starting to realise my habits and are concerned but I don’t feel thin I feel totally big and I don’t know when I will feel great. I can feel all my bones and everyone has pointed it out but it makes me feel so confused and conflicted as when I look in the mirror I look massive. Although I’m not underweight my doctors are concerned of my quick weight loss, they think I have something wrong with my body but I know it’s because I just won’t eat enough.

I used to be 90kg but lost 35kg in 1,5y. My wakeup call was when I was binge eating a whole bag of chips and 2nd chocolate bar and thinking this needs to stop or I'll die before I'm 21. Then I changed my lifestyle. I became so obsessed being size 0 that I even quit gym to lose all the muscles. Unfortunally I've always had big girl genetics that even if I ate less than 1200kcal/day (or stopped eating anything) I started to gain weight. So I had to accept that I can't fight my natural body. Also I have many stomach issues so lately I've been forcing myself to at least eat soup for dinner so I don't skip a meal. I still stuggle with self image from time to time because people think being skinny means being healthy and I get praised for it. I jojo between size 0-6 cause I don't track my meal calories anymore.

Tbh its way easier to lose weight when you have a motivation like this. I had this cute guy at work who didn't know but I lost weight to get along with him because I used to be hot ( lol) but he saw me at my worst and I thought in my head he needs to know I used to be hot and that was my motivation 😅 lol. I ended up getting to my lowest weight in maybe 10 years. When I looked good and finally struck up a conversation we had a great rapport and ended up talking about life, books and philosophy for 2 hours. By the end of the conversation I found out he is married so that's that. Now Im fat again lol.
