Chelsea Vowel is a Mother, public intellectual, writer, and educator whose work intersects language, gender, Métis self-determination, and resurgence. Vowel's lecture entitled "Indigenization in the Time of Pipelines" was part of the 2016-2017 Weweni Indigenous Scholars Speaker Series presented by UWinnipeg's Indigenous Affairs Office.
