With the queer one, I think it was more of them not being comfortable with the use of the word and their name in the same area. There's a lot of discourse over the use of that word, especially right now. Still absolutely ridiculous to ask, but I don't think it was a "I'm the only one who can" kinda thing.

In fifth grade, I had a purple shirt with a horse on it. Another girl on my class had the same shirt and the first time I saw her wearing it I said she stole my shirt. I meant it as a joke, but I guess my tone didn't come across that way because she got pretty mad at me.

Fortunately, that's my only story of main character syndrome that I can remember.

The girl at min 10 wasn't even mad at the people. She was trying to get the perfect shot and got annoyed for being close and still not getting it. People just took her reaction and tried to make her a bad person

I have a different version of the first story 😂 I used to go to this bakery when I was around 16/17 and I'd order the same coffee and muffin everyday after school. I was so surprised when one day I went up to the counter and the old tiny lady that owned the place says "Oh! Name I was worried about you, You usually come in earlier. The usual today?" 😢 YO, I was depressed asf at the time and somehow knowing other people noticed me and cared warmed my heart. I got to know everyone at the bakery well after that and they were my happy place for many years till they closed recently.

I have worked in a lot of call centers and I am only hearing peoples voices and seeing their accounts. If I have not spoken to you recently...as in the past hour or 2 I will most likely not remember you unless you were a monumental dipshit and even then I will most likely forget about you. I have at least once a day have someone go"Oh i talked to you before!" And i am like..uhh ok? How can i help you this time? Half the time I have never spoken to this person they just think I sound like someone else. So yeah this gets tiresome. Ok great I talked to you for 5 minutes last year...I talk to about 50 to 80 people a day so most of the time you will not stand out sorry..
