ОтветитьMy dream car ❤
ОтветитьWe had a 1962 Chev Bel-Air four door with the 283 V8. It was a great car, until getting replacement panels and parts from America became just two much.
ОтветитьPrá mim a originalidade é tudo num carro.parabens 👍
ОтветитьIt was hiding some serious rust but awesome job of repairing it. This project turned out Great lots of hard work but well worth it.
ОтветитьGorgeous car!!!!
ОтветитьI do not want to know the cost!
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful job done on a popular car. Thanks for sharing with us!!
Ответитьvery nice
Ответитьlove to have one
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьOh man! In 1964, I owned a 1959 Chevy Impala Sport Coup. Grecian gray with beautiful red and gray interiour. 4 speed manual transmission , and the kicker was the 335 horse 348 solid lifter engine. That car was so fast in the day, what I wouldn't give to have that Chevy back today. I would hand wax that car every other week or so with, Super Blue Simonize Wax. I kept a can of that wax all these years as it is still good. I really miss those days.
ОтветитьBreathtaking restoration! It must be amazing to see all that hard work being truly appreciated! The attention to detail was amazing... As a 1 year old when this beauty came out; Of course I saw them many times over the years and rode in them as well... Good health to you and yours...
ОтветитьI love this stuff
ОтветитьIt’s comforting to know the craftsman of today can rival their predecessors and recreate a thing of beauty.
ОтветитьAbsolutely gorgeous. The Belair is one of my all time favorites and you have done a fantastic job. Glad you restored it to original.
ОтветитьPerfect and absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI had a black one that I bought from the neighbors for $50 in the early 70's. Drove it over the winter months when my '64 Vette was garaged. Filled the back seat up to the top of the seats w McDonald's bags, wrappers cups and sadly drove it to the junk yard in Spring when the Vette came out of hibernation.
ОтветитьAl it needs now is the correct wide whites to be correct
ОтветитьUnusual to see a 61 again, nice job, its a beauty. Back in the days I had 2 , 63 chevy station wagons, a biscayne and a bel airre both with the 283 small 8. the belle aire had a standard on the column the other automatic. great cars!!!!!!!! There was nothing better than standard on the column once you really mastered it. The gear choice was yours and always right in front of you for total concentration and fast changes...
ОтветитьPerfection. So nice to see it restore to an original presentation. Excellent job 👏
ОтветитьStunning job! And second all the kudos for keeping it original.
ОтветитьBetter work than GM ever did.
ОтветитьGood job matching that interior. Mine was similar but greenish in color, however that's a great match
ОтветитьI had a 1961 Bel Air with a 283 and 4 dr in 1969. It was junk. It burnt oil and I had to replace the automatic transmission. The cars had thicker gauge body steel but they still rusted out too soon and after 100,000 mi they were considered very high mileage. You'd buy a new car and it would need an alternator after 35,000 mi.or maybe a fuel pump. there were a few good models that lasted unexpectedly long like the 6 cyl dodge dart but most were junk. The American car makers had no competition so they made cars that were intended to last 100,000 mi. Now it's not unusual for cars to go 20 years without rusting and go 400,000 mi.
Ответитьbeauty !!
ОтветитьWOW!! What a beautiful, beautiful car you turned that back into!! And at the beginning of the video I was thinking, “here we go, LS swap, patina paint job, ect., ect., ect.” This car is MAGNIFICENT!!
ОтветитьNo offence, but... Was it impossible to insert some video? At least when the car was ready.
ОтветитьWow! Beautiful restoration, just love those cars from that period in Detroit. I had a '61 Impala that was in immaculate shape and like a dummy sold it. Yes, slapping my head that many years does hurt.
ОтветитьReal Nice
ОтветитьGreat job!
ОтветитьI grew up in the 50s and 60s, in the south we always called those cars 2 door hardtops
ОтветитьWow I did the same car colour everything in 1992. Only difference was I went with double 4 barrels. Wish I filmed mine. Sold it and it went State side. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьA work of art. Beautiful!
Ответитьwooowww!! I like stick shift more than automatic transmission
Ответитьwow what a patina that could have
ОтветитьSlide show? Are you serious?
ОтветитьWhat A Magnificent Piece of Work ! Well Done!
ОтветитьWhat’s bottom dollar
ОтветитьWhat would it take bottom dollar???
ОтветитьI was 5 years old in 1961 and saw on of these cars drive by slowly. It was all chrome and shiny. A new look too.
ОтветитьNice work
ОтветитьMy favorite year.
Ответитьwhats wrong with the factory frames on these cars seems like they got to destroy every thing original now days instead of perserverving things like a vidio on here the stupid ass chopped the top on a 1936 hudson terraplane now that is sick as sick as butchering up a beautiful model a i m wondering what will happen when they run out of oldold cars to chop up sad sad
ОтветитьCorvette ralleys 15 + 8 front 15+10 back baby center caps to finish it properly !
ОтветитьExcelente video.
ОтветитьGreat restoration! I had the Impala in the late 60's. Chick magnet and a super driver. I wish I still had it.
ОтветитьI hope you put it in 2k after blasting
