Loved this btw, I was watching as I was rocking my bub to sleep, and felt very emotional and cried a few times 🥲 She's grown so much so fast, and also watching those dads play with their bubs made me miss watching my husband play and cuddle her when he was on his paternal leave. I know it's probably harder for him to not be here with us everyday though, he calls a few times everyday and loves hearing my updates throughout the day

Only reason I’m chiming in is I have a 11 month old son as well as 2 uncles that are raising a 9 year old boy from birth that’s convinced he’s a a mermaid. Kinda weird the baby bouncing between 2 hairy chests.. the levels of oxytocin seems to be the same of same sex parents but I would be interested in seeing the child’s biological response. I agree it’s magnitudes better than being an orphan, or aborted like millions of CHILDREN each year but I think we should be looking into it. I think anyone should have the opportunity to parent but if we can understand real differences in situations we can offer better resources for everyone. 2nd point is it drives me damn crazy hearing a doctor tell a mom not to feed their child. When the baby is screaming, milk is ooozing out of breasts but let’s drip it into the trash so the 3 month old can learn independence… or learn it’s emotions are not welcomed in the world and it better act how society wants or there will be a world of misery awaiting
