Hey Brad, I bought another set of your great plans, and I’m going to use them as the start of some kitchen cabinets. It’s my first time building cabinets and I am going to paint them. My question is when during the process I should paint? Thanks again.
ОтветитьThings look easy until you start doing them!
ОтветитьAlways amazing ideas and videos. THANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьOne thing to keep in mind for anyone hoping to modify the design: this design only works with doors on the outside/drawers in the middle. Standard euro hinges require a full 3/4" thick panel for the hinge-side of the door to land on--you can't share a single panel with drawer fronts. There are hinges that don't need as much room, but they protrude about 3/4" farther into the space, so pull-out shelves become more difficult to accommodate. It's still possible, but much less practical.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. Very helpful.
ОтветитьThis is EXACTLY what I want to replace my current workbench with!!!
ОтветитьI 'm going to use this design for my kitchen base cabinets.
ОтветитьThanks for this vid, Brad! Now I'm ready to conquer our kitchen cabinets build! 😃🔨🪛🪚👷💪🏿
ОтветитьIs it possible to use casters with locks on the bottom instead for portability?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьYes 9 Dollar why don't you say that up front I like your builds but I'm not paying for plans
ОтветитьYou have to pay for plans you aren't any help
Ответитьone of my favourite how to videos...as well as one of my favourite channels to get info... thank you Brad. You have helped me up my game. I have learned a lot from you. THANKS!!
ОтветитьAwesome video! As always. Could you do a video teaching how to measure doors and how to measure for the correct hinges?
ОтветитьWhere did you get your push stick that looks like a pistol
ОтветитьWell done Brad!
Ответитьlow maintenance ♡~
ОтветитьOh and I love your drill press stand as well. That is next on my list of to do's
ОтветитьAbsolutely love your videos man. You are giving out great instructions and details in a way that is easy to understand and follow. I came to know your videos as I was struggling with making drawers and using drawer slides for the first time. I struggled my way through it, made a bunch of mistakes, wasted plywood too. (:-) That lead me to search for videos and found your site. Darn it all, had I seen your drawer video first I would have known what in the world I was doing. But I have to say you made me chuckle in this video when you gave out the proverbial uuuggghhh! after having to redo your drawer slides when you didn't take into consideration the drawer slides hitting the cabinet doors. Great job with your explanations and describing your mistakes as well.
Ответитьthe amount of effort you put in to these projects/videos is really impressive! to be honest, I'm inspired.. hope to buy your plans soon once I get some of my tools in order
ОтветитьAwesome video! I also appreciate that you left in your mistake, we all make them but many might have chosen to edit this out and not mention it
ОтветитьKudos for the Kreg K4/K5 dust port and the track saw. The dust port collects virtually ALL of the chips and is VERY inexpensive. I bought the entire Kreg track saw system and it almost eliminates (maybe 98%?) circular saw dust in my enclosed, air conditioned shop where dust is really noticed.
ОтветитьThe way u showing to people don't know anything so now they understand 95% easiest ways.
ОтветитьDIY if you have $8000 worth or cabinetry tools at home ???
ОтветитьOK. I give in. 3rd vid and I have to subscribe. Thanks! :)
ОтветитьHey! Newbie here...What technique did you use to ensure the dividers were plumb?
ОтветитьA 110 degree hinge would have also fixed your problem
ОтветитьNice build. Those drawer handles are nice but, they tend to snag on your clothes.
ОтветитьWow! I stumbled upon this video while researching DIY bathroom vanities. The knowledge, skill, and humble confidence you have is very admirable. I respect showing us the drawer mistake as well. Very, very impressive build.
ОтветитьAre pocket holes strong enough?
ОтветитьLove your projects man I'm just now getting into the woodworking business about 6 months in. I'm around your area as well Murfreesboro,TN. Do you have any tips on reaching out to people beyond just your friends list on Facebook. Most of friends on there are from Memphis and I want to hit the more local market.
ОтветитьWhy is it not free
ОтветитьB
ОтветитьWell dang...you're just up I-65. Huntsville, AL checking in. Ordered the shop bundle this morning....a total rookie at this new hobby.
ОтветитьHow to replace/replace washer machine timer cycle that’s not spinning?
ОтветитьGood JObs
ОтветитьI really enjoy and learn a lot from your videos, Brad. And I'm not afraid to admit I have serious shop envy. When making cabinet drawers, is there a general guideline you follow when deciding on the thickness of the plywood you use for the drawer boxes? I'm relatively new to building stuff and I default to 3/4 inch because that's what I see most YT makers using, but 3/4 feels like overkill for some of my smaller projects. Any advice? Thanks again for the great videos.
ОтветитьWouldn’t it have been easier to order some new door hinges with zero protrusion?
ОтветитьGreat video for frameless cabinets in my shop. What kind of plywood are you using?
ОтветитьHello, the screws in Peru have a cross entry and the pointers are thus not square. If I buy that machine can I use it without problems? Will I need the square tip extension or can I use the traditional one here in Peru? Thank you.
ОтветитьThat look awesome and is going to so nice for the garage. I’m glad you pointed out the mistakes you made. Makes us rookies feel a little bit better when we make mistakes and takes some of the fear away from diving in and trying it ourselves. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this Brad. You do such great work and I am glad that you make/show mistakes! I enjoy your work and am thankful you are willing to share with us!!
Ответитьi wish i have the plan for free as a beginner wood worker . . . thanks brad
ОтветитьIt’s nice that you show your mistakes. If you’re doing any sort of woodworking you’re going to make mistakes. And it’s just a matter of fixing them somehow and moving on.
ОтветитьI think I would have added a couple of drawers on each side and skipped resizing all the drawers… Obviously, also skipping the hinged doors. Having said that, you have an amazing channel and I really enjoy watching your videos. Your instruction on projects is just superb!
Note: my wife thinks you look like Ashton Kutcher. (Now she likes to watch your videos.)
good job , muy bien .
ОтветитьReally appriciate you showing us your mistake! I feel better about myself now!
ОтветитьHow long long have you been doing this? Impressive as you have all the tools.
ОтветитьFor the Kreg jig, you are correct about the vacuum attachment. When I use that jig with the vacuum attached, I end up with maybe a tablespoon of excess chips. Cleanup afterward takes only about 30 seconds. Excellent video by the way. Gives me a lot of ideas for a project that I'm working this week.
ОтветитьI was thinking all the way through the video you sound like a salesman for Kreg and at the end sure enough, they sponsored you. How awesome is that? I would love to play in your workshop. lol
