A group I’m in has this weird song I can’t find online. I don’t have a piano here but of course I have the sheet music. This video makes me wanna literally write in the parts into a program and figure out what my damn part is supposed to sound like (as if it was sung by a person)! 😂

Also heck yeah to the sensible take that AI is a tool not inherently bad nor good. It is what we make of it, as any tool exists without charge one way or another until someone acts on it and creates such implications.

I never learned how to sing properly and though I'm slowly trying to improve (I think with proper training I could be alright) so this would help a lot and also for projects as an author with many characters... oh heck yes!

Ace Studio has a free trial but it's not at all clear what this costs once the trial is over. I don't see pricing anywhere on their website. To start the trial you have to enter your credit card? Thanks but...no, thanks.

I'm in the "neutral" camp on this. I didn't love AI doing the lead vocal in any of them. When it's so front and center, I can really tell it's not a person. The manipulations make it closer, but...still sounds like a computer to me. However, totally agree that this could be used for backing vocals, since it pretty much mimics what a good backup singer should be doing.

I don't get the people who think this will hurt "real artists." They can coexist, literally the same way actual instruments and electronic instruments do now. There's a market for both.

You should check out creator Boi What. He does the same sorta thing and makes really high quality AI songs with Spongebob character vocals.
