I've got to say how I like it how deep minded and firm in your relationships you nordic people are. Arabs or turks for example are so erratic. Like one day they would sell their kidney for you, next day they want to cut your throat and another day they again do all for you. You nordic people are so stable and deep minded. I love it. Not dramatic, not loud like southern mentalities but so honest and firm.

yeah i get the solitude thing, it’s where i get my energy. i love being with my loved ones but i still need alone time from them too, as too much socialising can drain my energy - it’s just who i am.
solitude v loneliness are 2 very different concepts. Without solitude i can not grow, be authentic and creative. When i spend to much time in solitude i can miss my loved ones then i become lonely. I know now when i need solitude or socialising but it’s never as easy as it sounds right? 😂

Hello Kalle. I can so deeply relate to everything you said. Even raindrops falling on a surface are my favorite sound, too😁. I live in a big city in Germany and am still making, or trying to make the best out of it - but it is simply not my place to be. As often as possible I escape into nature for a hike and then I feel like I can really relax and be myself. You are truly a very brave man for making that big jump from city life to life in nature. I think about it a lot, but I don‘t really know where to start. Wishing you all the best🤗

This is the life I now know my soul will feel home too. I hope I can find a partner wants to go this way with me, by myself at 47 is not easy to get things around. Another thing is how can I make money to sustain this life style that I need to figure out too. If you guys have any resources for these information, please let me know.

Every time I spend even just a few days or a week in the woods, I return absolutely rejuvenated. It's part of what made me decide to buy land and build a simpler way to live. People everywhere will be happy to continue telling you how to live and how you should be. Meanwhile a third of the population is either on psyche meds or drinks excessively. Or both. Its increasingly rare to find someone comfortable in their own skin. Just feels crazy that I waited til my 40's to start making my own decisions.

I love the bucket analogy. Maybe it’s time I looked at my own . . . And how it affects others. (Never thought of the relationship between my ability to care for others and the relative emptiness of my own bucket. Time for a change. )

I feel that we are made to feel by society that sitting and thinking, observing nature, slowing down and taking time to BE is something you shouldn’t do. That we should always be achieving something, as if contemplation and appreciation of the world around us and feeling happiness doing what we wish are not worthy achievements.
How can we possibly be the best person we can be if we do not take time to know ourselves?
And I do understand what you are saying. There is a huge difference between being alone and feeling lonely.

I‘m lucky enough to have a cabin too and love spending time there with my partner or alone. Like you I need ‚me time‘, and living alone in nature for a few days is a luxury I know, but helps me to reset and recharge.

If it feels right that's all what matters. I have a chance to buy a piece of land and a wooden house for renovation. I was thinking about it. Made my decision after watching your video. Thank you 💚💚

I love my alone time but then I’m an introvert. I need my alone time. I live alone with my cat and dog in the city. At the end of my work day I cannot get home fast enough. I’m not much of a social person. All the drama that comes with it I find too stressful. I’m very happy in the little bubble I have created. ☺️

I am challenged to spend time with others because I love being alone so much. I always thought it was because of the creative things that I do. It's easy for me to entertain myself. I remember when I first landed in the country after city life, how I could hear my thoughts. Without all the input, I experienced so much peace.

I think love is a sacrifice. I don’t think people should just be alone. God created Eve for Adam for a reason. I would be so bummed if Adam said. Sorry Eve, I need “me” time. They should be ok together. That’s healthy. Not practicing being selfish but yes a good walk in quiet time in nature doesn’t hurt but it’s best to have some one who’s quiet…Next to you.

The being alone part is hard for me, but I don't have a partner, just broke up with someone who wasn't into offgrid lifestyle, and hoping to get the business started but without any experience with digital sound or video work. So I will watch your videos, along with Talasbuan, and try not to dream of moving back to Sweden too much. I'm in Canada now and I haven't found a community of creative cabin dwellers. Any tips on coping with the start up fears and confidence collapses would be much appreciated...Thank you for your channel

I grew up in southern ontario and its like 330 people per square kilometer. I am used to it. I have gone to other provinces and I'm caught off guard how far and desolate it all feels. I would like to move and explore canada but the idea of driving 40kms or way more without seeing a gas station or grocery store really makes me feel weird, my sense of community is street lights, community centers, restaurants, just all the things that make a quality of life in my mind. I know its easy to hate on a city boy so i dont share it with many people in real life but yes, alberta or nova scotia or newfoundland seem so hard for me to assimilate to, maybe it takes time

I used to live in the middle of nowhere. Now I am back in the city. I love city.
If you are white, you will be fine. However if you are a colored, it is a nightmare.
My kids got bullied in the country.
The middle of nowhere is also a food desert. I had to drive 1+hr to get to Walmart.

Only positive part of living the middle of nowhere, now I appreciate everything in the city!

I feel it very deep when you said that going alone in restaurants or something similar is representing real strength.
I need time for myself as well, but it’s so hard to be alone in public with a lot of different people. I feel so judged by everyone. It’s getting better but it’s still hard for me.

At my first ever solo trip, I was visiting Rhodes Greece in August, mass tourism time. It was a very tough experience. No one was alone there, not a single person. But this experience made me stronger! And I will confront all of these uncomfortable emotions as much as I can, because I want to grow!

Ive been living on my own for the past 8 years, and yes youre true, i can know myself better. Sometimes we are in a freinds group or even within our own families and sometimes we feel lonely even when we're sitting together with freinds or even Family, we just feel we dont belong, or everyone is in their own world, and they really don't care about us. When i started living on my own, i came to know that I'm a very strong person, cause not a lot of people can live on their own, its very challenging. I dealt with my hernia operation on my own, and thats the proudest moment of my life. My Family and freinds said, that i wont be able to deal with the operation on my own. But i went against all odds and i managed the pre and the post operative period on my own. When we are alone we're more stronger. Life will throw all the challenges at you, when youre alone, and if you can deal with it, then we are all warriors, true soldiers. I'm in England for the past 10 years, but in all these years ive got only one best friend. But still i cant say were true freinds, as he's always busy with work, and me I'm busy with work, and cause i live alone, its got its own challenges. But hes the only one who calls me, to check on me, to make sure im okay, but even my own Family they dont even bother to keep in touch even once a year.

I absolutely hate my life and society. I hate what people are nowdays.I never should have moved to a small town, I should have moved out into the middle of nowhere when I had the chance. My only goal now is to finish my schooling so I can get the hell away from the public, work from home and become a shut away. I miss nature. I hate living in a dessert. Im absolutely miserable and the only people i give a shit about anymore are my parents. Youre living my dream minus the relationship.
