Even with an energy skill less than 75, which is what it recommends, I feel like it one shots absolutely everything but deathclaws. And all you need to do to get it is make it all the way to the northwest part of the map, which just requires some walking and beating a few groups of buzzards. As for killing the gang who holds the gun, it's doable with a few grenades, and it's basically gg ez if you have a companion at that point.

If you want easy repairs for free take confirmed batchelor and knight at Mohave outpost can be talked into repairing your stuff for free, you do have to have enough caps for the repairs but he never takes them from you. Also his repair skill raises when yours does up to about 90 repair skill. If you're below 90 his repair skill will always be higher than yours

If you get the return to sender quest at camp forlorn hope, you get a free ranger sequoia at the end. You're gonna have to steal it though, because it will end up on the floor

A place he failed to mention to find a light machine gun, if you go to the quarry and kill all the deathclaws you can find a machine gun in the deathclaw nest regardless of level.

You don’t need the wild waste perk to find pushy, just go to ruby hill mine and kill the lake lurks in the caverns, find the water area swim to the centre land mass of the carvers lake/ pond and on a caravaners corpse (might be a bandit) and their it is.

Sorry dude that was super cringe imma gun buff, when you got to the Light machine gun part... that’s not an Assault Rifle it’s a light machine gun... rifles/ Ars are meant for putting rounds on target, the light machine gun can do both putting rounds on targets or suppressive fire, making your enemies suppressed so they can’t return fire with being hit.

The Gobi is the best weapon imo, I always have it with me, I use it most of the time. Its crit chance is so high, damage too, sad is you cannot silence it, but use this big boy in the camp of the Legion, where you can also find it, and drop these guys from distance one by one easily. I am a sucker for this one, I also like the silenced version from Christine, and the Ratslayer have a special place in my heart. In terms of other guns, like a pistol the Ranger Sequoia is my first choice, but I also love the 12.7mm SMG, very powerful.

I think q-35 is the king of energy weapons due to its synergy with crits and crit build is broken af. Yes, there are other good crit energy weapons, yet q-35 is pretty durable making it more enjoyable with built to destroy perk. In addition to that ammo economy is very sweet bonus

You can also get the LMG by clearing out quarry junction, but that's pretty hard

The unique mini gun doesn’t have poor ammo usage, WE have poor ammo usage. Your not suppose to hold the fire button anyway, that mini gun is so strong that you just need to tap the fire button . And make sure you’re very close to the enemy.
