Can you use the curl mix on very short hair? I just cut my hair.

Curl mix was given to me as a gift so I used it my hair is dry it's not moist so I don't know what I did wrong. But nothing works for my hair.

This is my busy month at work. Missed your videos. You went way back. My parents would not let me get a relaxer. I got my first relaxer when I graduated from high school and I use to get those crimps all the time. I would have freaked out if I saw one on my pillow. Your curls look nice and shiny.

I think we can all attest to those relaxer stories! Lol. Never worth it. And you used the exact right language...we didn't "appreciate" our curls. So true! CurlMix is still a no for me, but so glad you got the opportunity to work with them. 💯

I love CurlMix. I know you prefer stronger hold most of the time. The lines with the most hold are the Fragrance free(pink bottle) and Vanilla Berry(blue bottle) lines…The hold is a lot better…..the reverse wash and go works for more hold also, but i always prefer to put the leave in or moisturizer first.

Love your hair results Rae, will have to pull out my CurlMix. I remember those relaxer days...your head on 🔥 waiting to be rinsed. I got a serious burn on my forehead once, and those old scalp burns! I haven't had my hair relaxed in over 17 years and I don't miss it. 😅

If you'd like stronger hold, you can do the reverse wash and go. Just do step 4 (gel) first and then top with step 3 (moisturizer).

Omg! The creamy crack. It always ruined my hair and scalp. What a nightmare! My last relaxer was in 2000. Thank goodness. I big chopped and felt so free.

I was definitely like you. Always telling my stylist just a little bit more when I had the relaxer on my head lol. It was never straight enough for me. Now I don’t even care to flat iron my hair. My how times change. Definitely for the better ☺️. Love the video. Congrats on the sponsorship.

I can totally relate to your relaxer experiences. I was opposite though since I was very tender headed. As soon as it burned I asked my beautician to take it off. She would always say you are too tender headed for all of this thick hair.😆

I did not lose a clump of hair but I do have a mark at my hairline from a bad scalp burn. You are so right we are lucky to still have our curls after after those relaxers
