But then what is the incentive for investors and shareholders to keep the decentralised apps going without becoming like Meta that controls data at the centre?

I'm a total novice in Blockchain tech, but I understand that there are concerns about decentralised apps having venture capitalists who may intend to regulate its use.

So what really makes your data in web3 safe when there are investors? I get that blocks may be difficult to reverse and so even if there would be a board of directors, they can't usurp your data but is that all?

Also, what about energy costs of running web3 on a larger scale? I hope your future videos cover aspects of these so that I can understand better. Thanks!
