Multiresolution Modifier - Blender Tutorial for Beginners - Basics

I just want make short movie but blender is trash

I have a problem..my multi rez works in sculpt mode but when i switch to object mode to apply definition,, multi rez disappears
whats the deal??

I've used the muti res a million times and learned a few things lol

Correct but the symmetry does not work. So sometimes it is a problem rather than a help.

Its possible to keep your model smooth after remesh/multires? When i do remesh my low poly, especially cylinder or ball shapes i can see that my model looks more like "flat shading" and all faces are visible.

And to think that I didn't use this modifier because I didn't know how to use it. Thx In2vert
