For most realostic diagrams u can also use blender. It also provides an oppertunity for animating the models

Looks fascinating, but I wonder it really works in many manufacturing estimating or else, you know, These are just design looks good, not an estimating and drawing .

3DS company develops some of the finest engineering and design softwares out there and there are tutorials too for those who are starters.. You can find a lot of tips and "how to" online if you need but me, as a hobby designer, never had problems using 3ds softwares.

Just give me one more night..one more nigh-a-a-ait...a-a-ait..

I never said you had to either. But in order to know what to bind you still will have to navigate menus as there isn't very many hotkeys bound by default.

In order to customize your hotkeys you probably need to know what to bind. ;) And through navigating the menus you will know what to bind. But as an experienced user there should be a lot less navigation.

I find Alias to be even harder to navigate.

the "training" is 90% finding wehre the buttons are. CATIA made sure this process was as difficult as possible.

Polygon and nurbs modeling.Nothing new here that worths the money. Just a fancy promoting video..

@Sidowse I agree that we live a period where people can stand anymore to have a huge learning curve...in that way software must incoporate more & more smart behavior, not only with a mouse but also to prepare the CAD on i-pad (touch modeling). However, you can have the easiest tool in the world, you're not going to become a digital sculptor in 2 weeks...if so I want your training...

while many people are struggling how to build 3D, someone has been thinking how to make and modify smooth surface bodies more easily and quickly.

All these different CAD software are driving me nuts .. with all these new development, features and techniques, how do learn to use everything? It get to be overwhelming and frustrating, most of these companies don't even provide free training or tutoring. And the product gets more and more expensive.
