i tried this out, roasted it and everything. I have the ninja super fruit blender, and it can blend almost anything, but the powdered almonds kept getting stuck in between the blades and it didn’t work. kept trying to push them and continue, took me an hour and it still didn’t work. now i’m just stuck with powdered almonds. what did i do wrong?

I did not hear you mention HOW LONG will the nut butter last in the fridge? I am following along now but cut my recipe in 1/2 as it is only me and hubby now.

I use this recipe w/ my vitamix blender but there is no way it only takes one min. Just not my experience.

Just a warning almond skins contain lectins.. which can exacerbate your health problems especially arthritis, bowel disease & type 1 diabetes .. I’d peel them to be on the safe side. 😊

I made it in my vitamix, but only did 2 cups if alminds and it did work, but it took 3 minutes, which is fine, but it did work.

Can you make this with the wet container? In fact, do you really need the dry container for nuts?

Don’t roast nuts or seeds Just blend it up. Roasting nuts and seeds oxidised them.

Is it ok to store at room temp?

I kid you not, after watching Lisa's homemade food tutorials for years, vitamix is the first appliance I saved up and bought when i got married. Such a splurge but worth it!

Are you going to throw away all the goop left in the blender ??? You forgot to tell them to use the dry cup of the Vitamix .
