I’m completely absorbed by this currently. Laid up at home from work with a fucked knee and the time couldn’t be better.

I feel very sore for all non-Russian speakers. Cos the dialogues in this game are brilliant. With tons of references to Soviet and Russian culture. It's like picking up an old Soviet fiction book from an author who really knows how to write and loves it.

Why are there so many Hungary people if this is set in Russia?

who made this game and when? didnt they get in trouble with bethesda? or black isle or interplay? it seems like its 80% the same as fo1 & fo2 but slighter nicer looking.. or maybe its closer to wasteland 2 7 3

dude, SEDIAPL doesn't quite have the same ring to it as SPECIAL... but i used an anagram solver thing and it came up with the word PALSIED which means someone with Cerebral Palsy...someone with tremors & semi-paralysis - which makes me wonder if they did it on purpose? Cos Special also can mean disabled... maybe they had it as palsied and people said.. no you cant have that, its insensitive.. change the letter order! ???

I would love to see you play strategy games against The Spiffing Brit... Or really any game... It would be hilarious to watch you play against someone who actually knows what they are doing...

This just released on the switch so I've come to see how it played again. Now I'm just left wondering if you can go around doing drunk-fu.

I'm only here because I saw ATOM 2 and didn't even know that the first one came out!

Boy, this is one ugly fuckin' game, huh? Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome as far as gameplay... but there is literally no art design what so ever in the game.

It's unfortunate that some of the charm really gets lost in translation. If you are unfamiliar with Soviet, and then CIS culture and pop-culture you really miss out on a lot of little touches, some jokes, ect.

Looks interesting, but boy oh boy, it pretty much copies a lot of the gameplay with minor changes. (Story appears different, though.) The Steam page is pretty funny, because it claims to be inspired by GURPS and I haven't seen a single mechanic in it that is more GURPS-like than Fallout or Fallout 2.

is time a major problem like the original Fallout where you had a certain amount of time to get something done or can you take your time in this game that'll be the deciding factor for me?

I named my character is Tsagiry Yzumiy. He's an ATOM cadet whose dreams of being a graphic novel illustrator has long since destroyed since the apocalypse began. His physical strength and skills allows him to easily handle firearms and is generally a capable fighter. He could easily talk his way out of situations and pursuade people. Despite this, he is never the type of person who would get emotional and comfort people. He has no problem with consuming human meat, cooked or raw which turned off some people including one of his former peers, Alexander.
