I have an n by n minesweeper I coded, it can handle upwards of 1000x1000. Want to give it a whirl?

I could never beat normal mine sweeper with a set up that's basically "baby's first minesweeper game" I have no idea how I'd ever get to even comprehend 4D minesweeper.
I like 4D space stuff and puzzle games, so I might try it still.

I started understanding then I got confused by the end, but I finaly realized that the numbers change when you flag a mine.

I appreciate your pointing out the logic of "The same number of mines are in this set and this superset, so the excess can be checked as not mines", normally that wouldn't be as important in regular Minesweeper, or at least, not as obvious. Also, I love the visual aides in the program (although, as you said, a marking system would be nice), I can see that helping a lot with managing the information, as 4D space is not at all intuitive.

This game gets much more interesting once one starts looping the direction...

I was trying to calculate how big could be the number here and so, for 2D it's 8 maening it's everywhere, means in 3D it has to be that + 2x9 which is 26 and hence for this it must be 26 + 2x27, so that is 70. Pretty big number
