Trying to log into DockerHub at the command line but you're getting the 'invalid username or password' error?

That's because you're using your password, not an access token. If you want to log into DockerHub on the command line, you need to log in with a DockerHub Access Token.

Don't worry, it's easy to create. Just log into your Docker account through a browser using your normal username and password. Then, go to your profile, click security and then click to generate a new DockerHub Access token.

Copy the Docker Access Token's value and then try to do a command line Docker login again. Provide the token when the time comes and you'll have a successful DockerHub login.

Happy Dockering!
