Just to mention, FPS/Rendering mods aren't the only ones that break Optifine.
Currently 3/August/2023, Minecraft version 1.20.1 and OptiFine HD U I6 pre6: "Create" mod and "Enchanced Celestials - Blood, Blue & Harvest" break Optifine with a bad injection.

How does one add optifine to a forge server but client side?

bro he talks so fast when you put him in .5 speed he sounds mostly normal

I heard that the Resource pack fresh animations requires optifine to work properly, is there another mod that allows me to actually use fresh animations?

for me when I add optifine for my own custom modpack, first of all it adds a mod called "LagFix Beta" and then when I launch the modpack, it crashed the game with exit code 1. Btw i didnt have any mods that would prevent Optifine from working. so idk what to do

my game loads up with optifine but when I try to enable a shaderpack my Minecraft stops responding

is the RAM not enough?? I use 7GB of ram

can I do this for all the mods 8?

Optifine is not only for performance. CIT resource packs do not work without optifine.
