This song reminds me of my dead cousin who died around this time 2 years ago

I lost my Mom back in June and when I went back to work and heard this song and Metallica's "Fade To Black" I was not prepared for the emotional gut punches. And now that we're drawing ever closer to the holidays it's hitting me harder and harder that she's not here anymore. Blasted this in my car yesterday and as it got to "Lay away a place for me" I cranked that volume knob and belted it out in such pain and this hits so much harder than it used to

This is one of their best songs. It really brought out Avenged Sevenfolds Metal side.

I just saw A7X on the 2nd, in Tacoma. They played this song. It hit me then, that the meaning is deeper than my first impression. I shed tears, it was so beautifully preformed.

This song always made me cry, because I truly missed the rev. I was 17 when nightmare came out. 28 & 29 is when death came too much july, october (2022), & now March 2023. This song hits harder now. Then in 2017 when my great grandma passed.

I think about Jason David Frank when I hear this song. He was a hero to me in my teens and the reason I grew my hair long, despite my mom hating the hair length. It nearly killed me when he died. Until a full investigation is done, I don't believe for a minute that he took his life.
