ОтветитьI’ve tried Arnold’s workouts and it doesn’t work that great when rest isn’t applied as needed. For someone on roids it will work good but people who are natural would work better with Mike Mentzors way of training
Ответить50% of Arnold is steroids. He started taking steroids at 15. He took more drugs than anyone else despite his good genetics. But that was still nothing compared to the amount of drugs taken by bodybuilders of today. If Arnold was competing today he would probably drop dead like so many bodybuilders today at young age because Arnold had that mentality to win no matter what. The crap Arnold comes out with that he took very little steroids and 5 % of his physique is drugs, yeah right!.

Fact is, he and those at the time are still absolute legends we aspire to be.
Mentzer was ablo to do HIT, Arnold was able to do train as much as he did, both of them did so because of steroids, they are not a blueprint for anyone going natural way. HIT is great, but remember that Your joints need 9X more time to strenghten compared to muscles, thats why HIT can be dangerous for anyone who's not on steroids. Look at Steve Reeves and especially bronze/silver era body builders, thats the blueprint.

ОтветитьYeah, arnold definitely didn’t build his mass with that double split routine. I think he only started that after he had already built a bunch of mass.
Then later one he would do those long workouts to lose fat and build muscle simultaneously for the show, of course with the assistance of juice.
This is the way to build a body but most are too lazy to even try. Arnold's basic routine has you doing 6 days a week...YES...and each bodypart twice a week. This is very doable. You spend the first year or two following this plan by doing light to moderate weight and using meduim intensity. This is how you should train in the first year or so of your bodybuilding lifestyle.
Volume with moderate intensity is mantory for beginners as they cant generate enough intensity to move heavy weight. That will take a year or so of solid training before moving on to advanced forms of training.
Light to moderate weights for 4 to 5 sets of 8 to 12 reps per exercise with 2 to 3 exercises per bodypart with only one minute of rest between sets are needed to reach a pump and burn which will lead to intial GROWTH.
The heavy more advanced and intense workouts come later.

Ответитьhe did all that the last 3 months before MR O man,the rest of the year they did like low volume low reps mainly focusing on strength and size,you do his workout day 1 u will be sotre as fk for 2 weeks and quit the gym lmaop

ОтветитьStupid plan because you cannot work for a living, NOT take steroids and train like that. So the "best" plan is the one that carries you to your goals.
ОтветитьThis generation isn't willing to push the pain threshold required to build muscle. They sit on the equipment playing with their phone. They're wimps compared to my generation.

Any more than a third of Arnold's off season volume (basic training) is too much.
I only go 2 a 3 times and gain crazy.. not counting reps or sets just work you ass off
