I'm really enjoying hearing all your Yeti ownership stories - keep 'em coming!
ОтветитьI love my 2L yeti it’s done so much with me unfortunately that is well over 150k miles but it just keeps going & as you said there just isn’t a replacement for it & it’s so disappointing
ОтветитьMy family has I think a 2016 1.6 diesel greenline engine with a decent spec. Its such an amazing no-faff car that I want my own 4x4 2.0 diesel version, 2015-2017 preferably.
ОтветитьWhen my sister was looking for a new car about 10 years ago I tried to talk her into a Yeti.
'I'm not driving a Skoda.'
She ended up with a Hyundai i35. Its horrible.
Wow so cool that this is the Yeti Jeremy Clarkson tested😮
ОтветитьDiff lock, rear LSD?
ОтветитьDrove 4x4 for one month on winter conditions, I was surprised how good it was on snow, robust and roomy, great car!
ОтветитьI always liked the Yetis. Not the name though. the car seemed very user friendly. Never drove one and am sorry they discontinued them. Didnt know they were this good!
Ответитьhow do you know that car is going to be unbreakable from any brand
ОтветитьDespite of having prestige behind the Skoda badge
, the only reason Skoda failed to make impact in sales chart in India is its horrible after sales service & atrocious maintenance cost.. Wish Skoda had done something about it at that time..
Isn't it sane as Tiguan??? Here in US we don't have Skoda, but i know they are noce and sometimes reliable vehicles.
ОтветитьI owned a skoda. Never again. Terrible build quality and engine issues from brand new.
ОтветитьIt's like Fiat Panda 4x4, but with some actual power
ОтветитьThis is a great example of a great car with a lot of potencial which wasnt discovered until it was too late :/
ОтветитьNot common rail, they are the new ones. You mean Pump Duse. Also Adblue does not interact much with the engine. Its sprayed into the catalyzer.
ОтветитьFun Fact. With the front passenger seat removed you can fit a full sized coffin in a Skoda Yeti. It’s the vehicle both my parents went to their final resting place in. Dad drove Mum, I drove Dad.
ОтветитьFabulous car. We have two different vintage Fabias in our family, which are ideal, but at the time we needed to replace my wife's car, we tested a couple of Yetis. I absolutely loved it, but sadly we were unable to get the deal we needed on a very good one, so went with a superb quality, low mileage Fabia Monte Carlo estate. My wife loves that car too and it has been excellent. I still hanker after a very late production, good quality Yeti......
ОтветитьIt seems like the Yeti was popular only in Britain, although it is a very good car indeed. I'm saying this as an owner of an original and a facelift model (which I own to this day). The boot is small, the aerodynamics are like that of a brick, as you said, but the engine is very smooth. I doubt the diesel variant is as smooth and quiet as the 1.8 TSI.
ОтветитьWe get 50mpg out of the diesel
ОтветитьHad a yeti for ten years now amazing vehicle!!
ОтветитьSněžný muž
ОтветитьHello, I am on my 4th Skoda, 2 of which are Yetis. The older model did not survive a garage fire...sniff :(, but it was still 100% insured and so I have now had the new 1.6 D 105 hp model for 8 years.
Very good consumption 4.8l /100km. Very good seat and general comfort AND for me, with a bad back, easy to get in/out of. rating: 9/10.
I absolutely love my Yeti. The first car I've truly enjoyed driving and I was absolutely gutted when I found out I wouldn't be able to update it (when the time came) with a newer one so she'll be with us 'til the end.
Ours is a 2l 4x4 diesel, automatic and it's feisty 😁 Doesn't feel like an auto at all.
This car looks ugly as fook, even for 2009 standard.
ОтветитьJust chrysler grand voyager bro! Jeti is nothing counter to stow 'n go, sorry!
ОтветитьIt's not that good. It's tiny cramped and rust like a battleship.
ОтветитьI never understood why Audi ditched the A2 and why Skoda ditched the Yeti
ОтветитьI’ve had two and hand on heart they are the best car I’ve owned. Only recently gone electric and now saving a lot on fuel but it doesn’t have the space or versatility of the yeti. I also thing they are the best non “Tonka” looking real car out there!
ОтветитьIt looks like a coffin carrier. Horrible.
ОтветитьTop gear was fake af
ОтветитьA proper Czech car. The sandal of vehicles.
ОтветитьNow that’s a man with a lot of passion in cars reviewing a car he’s really passionate about. Nice
ОтветитьSněžný Medvěd. There is your czech word :D
ОтветитьSněžný medvěd :)
ОтветитьGreat review 👍
I actually watched until the end which is a first for me 😁
Hahahah looked it up at mobile (Germany) and they are still at 14.000€😂😂😂 cars are so FREAKING expensive these days unbelievable
ОтветитьMy mum's just bought a 2016 yeti, I'm learning to drive and find it much easier to handle than my dad's 2016 Peugeot 108.
ОтветитьHad my yeti for about 8 months now, absolutely love it, probably the best car I've owned, and I've owned a lot. Hard to believe it's only got a 1.2 engine under the bonnet. Fantastic performance and handling.
ОтветитьI drove one, a 1.2TSi hoping it to be a good replacement for our Touran, but it felt too much like the Touran. Yes, it was comfortable, but thats not what I'm looking for. Besides that, fuel consumtion was too high in my opinion, didn't get it better than 15km/l while driving like my grandma's grandma.
Ответитьyeti is bizarre ...
it's a suv that drives like a car
it's a car that of-roads better than suv
it's dirt cheap - hence you don't mind ofroading it and using it as a work horse.
it's pretty reliable and rugged that you can rescue a land rover in it ;)
Looks like fiat multipla😂😂😂
ОтветитьVery practical car, too bad it's still Volkswagen. So don't buy that crap unless you want to bring it to the shop all the time 😢
ОтветитьNice Yeti !. Thanks. Dave
ОтветитьI have a 2L Diesel Elegance, I've got issues with the throttle body and the drivers door wiring loom. I ignore both, oh and the 2nd key is broke but that is more wife related.
ОтветитьIn 13 minutes he has convinced me it’s the best car ever made
ОтветитьGreat car ... Yeti is very solid!!!...my version 1200 is very good in consumption and with turbo.... go go go!!!
Ответить"you've all clicked away" I actually did but to facebook marketplace searching for a yeti
ОтветитьLots of problems with our 1.2 manual... Oil consumption too high, clogged valves (needed fill top end overhaul), lots of electrical issues, water pump failed early, radio multi CS stopped functioning... A bit underpowered and quite thirsty on fuel... We have had it 11 years from new and I over service it to keep it good..
Not as good as people might think.. No VW/Skoda Seat based products for us.. Next car the new Honda Civic..
