Im saying this as a sonc and genshin fan, Sonic deserved to lose after learning what happened. I'm glad Sonic was nominated, but they needed to learn when to keep their mouths shut. My big brother has played Genshin Impact and he's very aware that I'm a big fan of Sonic before and after Genshin Impact robbing "Player Voice of Game Awards 2022" and removing bot account votes for Sonic Frontiers, he even making a dirty jokes about Sonic! Now the sibling rivalry is about to rematch, and he know that I'm UNDEFEATABLE!

So 1 year later as both Frontiers and Origins Plus got nominated for this years game awards in Japan but if both games will win is well a massive long shot. I just hope there isn’t a bloody war this time around…

Ha what a joke. And he said he removed the bot votes, so how did genshin win one day sonic frontiers is on 73% for the votes, the next they are loosing. If you play this game, YOU ARE A PEDOPHILE.

I like how they think the bot votes were from Genshin but the reason why the site crashed was due to the Sonic fans botting the votes when the Chinese legit voted and skyrocketed the charts for Genshin.

Sonic frontier had a much better chance of winning this year, but a small subset of your community sabotaged it.
genshin community wasn't even interested in in voting. We had problems in our own game that would have led to most players not voting.
most posts in reddit asking for voting for genshin, always included some toxic sonic fan's tweet or art accusing the whole genshin community of horrible things.
That is what riled up the whole genshin community to vote.

Maybe Sonic frontiers ain’t as good as we think it is, maybe we are just in a honey moon phase and afterwards we will see why it didn’t win anything, it is a new game and maybe over time our opinion about it will change. Maybe it was the pop in that made the game not win anything. It’s just weird to see sonic team put so much money into a game and it ends not winning shit. In my opinion I don’t think an rpg is way better than a Mario and sonic game. In fact I find rpgs boring so the fact that sonic lost to an rpg is sad
