I wonder if Lojo said don't get the $800 Antares reel at Bass pro. Also I have that banana rod and it works great for trout fishing.

I had 1000$ worth of basspro gift cards and went all out a bought me a combo for 760$$$
The reel I bought was the Shimano STADIC Cl4
The rod was Shimano CRUCIAL(Shakey Head)
It was totally worth the money
Still like brand new today
