Hey man, I know it's an older video, but I just started playing the game and for me it's not easy to follow what you're talking about. You don't use headlines for each tip and in general each tip is not optimal to comprehend as a noob, because I don't know these locations yet.

I never refuel at camps i juat keep rmtrack of it and make sure to remember pathways to the nearest stations or nero checkpoints

If you look at the full moon for 4 days in game you'll become a werewolf after you finish the story mode. But the story was amazing.

Maybe they only added it after launch but the game definitely does tell you about that recover bike thing if its in water or over a cliff

My favorite things to get first are the Machete and the .22 Repeater. Machete Location: The houses south-east closest to the first hideout, next to railway bridge. There's one little lonely house south with a Machete in it. 22 Repeater: On top of the waterpower plant, also very close (north-)east of the first hideout. There's a stairway and ladder that obviously lead to the highest point of the power plant, on the walkway there are multiple items to loot including the Level 2 Rifle.

I do not have the user interface option available ? Is it just me or is it a bug?

I'm a cross the map with my bike out of fuel and too far away to recorder it or save my game

Bruh always follow the yellow line there will sometime be actual shortcuts but he couple times it works outweighs the amount of time I’ve crashed

This has helped me so much so I thought I'd come back and share something helpful I noticed: shooting from your bike uses your sidearm but is also more or less auto aim if your riding toward your target. Use this for hunting in open areas. Sure it takes a few more shots, but hitting your target is almost a given and chasing deer down is simple on a bike. Plus providing more meat this way is a great way to grind out some more cash especially when all the bike parts open up and you're trying to build it up.

Also, personal preference here, but give playing without fast traveling a shot. Between the random events and changes in day/night and weather, there are so many varying things that could happen on a simple trip, and honestly the map is not *that big. It makes the game more immersive and makes the fuel mechanic a little tighter because you'll find you're often diverting to a random event(blue ?) or being set upon by some foe. Consequently rolling downhill to save a little gas(which also delays when/if freakers react to you) also makes more sense. Sure you might get tired of this, but personally speaking, I haven't, and as someone who has loved this game, I'd certainly rather draw it out than go for NG+

Also random gaffe: every single historical marker in DG is exactly the same graphic and is for the St.Albans Raid, which is a Civil War battle that happened in Vermont.

Nr 1 tip: play on pc

My favorite little thing: Push forward but don't rev your bike when going downhill to save some fuel. It's a loading screen tip but when I saw it I immediately started doing it all the time

After watching the video and reading the comments, it seems like the best tips are to read the ingame tips & use common sense...

You actually can fill up on Swarmer ears.. I think the max is 999, though. I only did it after fighting multiple hoardes.

Days Gone, Spiderman, Spiderman Miles Morales, Uncharted, GOW, GOW Ragnarok, Horizon Zero Dawn, all convinced me to get a used PS4, slap an SSD in it, and check out some exclusives lol They were all quite cheap too.

Also note later in the game its cheaper to refill your ammo with the saddle bags than refilling the ammo at the camp

I hope my reply can save people time, if you have common sense don't bother watching this... lmao "the game doesn't tell you" uh does the game have to remind you to think even a little for yourself and use logic and common sense?

Stamina all the way, then focus, then health

Pretty sure the reticule turns red on a kill shot. Been a while since I've played so I can't really remember but pretty sure. Besides that I want to turn off as many things as possible for better immersion. The game will tell you when you level up in regardless if you can see the EXP. And you level up really fast on this game so long as you keep doing stuff.

Some tips and opinion from me playing the game:
- whenever you can, take time to mark enemies. The red mark also show their life. This is particularly helpful for elite enemies like rager or breaker as it will not only show where the enemy is but how many life it have left
- IMO, destroy crier nest with bolt but destroy freaker nest with Molotov. I know that 3 bolt use one kerosene, but in the latter part of the game, scrap will be more scares than kerosene or rag. Reserve your scrap for bombs.
