First of all, there is no such thing as back hand and front hand English. The cue stick should always be parallel to the line of the shot contact point on the cue ball and the grip to hip distance should always be the same distance = close. Pay attention to Allison Fisher from behind. Second, and super important is that squirt is increased or decreases by speed and spin so compensating for an aim point relative to double the distance of the tip position is not good math.
ОтветитьHey Lil', you are superb in explaining and demonstrating these tricky shots. Love this video ❤❤.
ОтветитьWell explained about the deflection n where ball hits. 👏
Ответитьso for side spin better use the back hand english instead of for hand english?
ОтветитьReally nice video. Finally simple explanation of how to and effect of side spin.
ОтветитьI dont understand where/how you are changing your line of aim... so if you put a tip worth of right english, what do you do after that to ensure you hit the ball straight? What are you moving to line up with the chalk?
Ответитьwhy di thw side spin not seem ti affect the cye ball off the first rail, but only after contacting the second rail?
ОтветитьAwesome video! Clear and calm instruction and demonstration. So glad I found you!!! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьAwesome.
ОтветитьThis is so very well taught.
ОтветитьA lot of information i could try on our tournament this august - thank you
ОтветитьWith all these videos people are showing it would be nice to know if you're shooting a soft super soft medium hard or hard tip. Also are you using a low deflection Shaft or not? All these things affect what you're trying to show
ОтветитьHe’s a great teacher!!
ОтветитьWELL DONE THANK YOU
ОтветитьGreat video…helped put a lot of things into perspective ❤
ОтветитьWow! Chris, I’m new to your channel also returning to shooting pool after a couple of decades. Your training make pool shooting more enjoyable. Thank you!
ОтветитьEnjoyed, I only am shoot 8ball pool on an app. It’s very accurate, other than you can’t jump, all else is accurate, so I love your demonstration. I can apply it to the eight ball game.
ОтветитьYou also proved that there is nothing called deflection because when you played left English there was no deflection right English same thing it is the power you hit the ball with sends the ball right or left just to sell cues and fool people a piece of wood could never move out of the way when hitting the cue ball nobody talking about tips because it cheap get the best high quality cue put a normal tip on get the cheapest cue put on a high end tip which will play better deflection is a scam
ОтветитьHow I wish I could buy my own Cue stick 😢
Thank you for sharing Ideas God Bless❤
Awesome video now I see why everytime I use side spin the ball rattles in the pocket. I know the english but haven't mastered it yet more practice is what I need now lol
ОтветитьGreat video and explanation. Very helpful.
ОтветитьM b. . . B. N b b . s n
ОтветитьJust started playing pool and I am loving it! This video will help me a lot for sure :)
ОтветитьI hv watched many videos of yours,I simply say you are amazing in your explanations, practical examples and covers all of the aspects. Thank you so much being a pool mentor for all of pool lovers ❤
ОтветитьWhat do u mean 1 tip of right english needs to be countered with one tip of left english in ur line of aim
ОтветитьThat was great.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this wonderful lesson
ОтветитьThanks Chris!! Life altering instructional video because I can reall start enjoying the game more!!
ОтветитьThank you for covering that side spin because i am back playing 9 ball again after about 10 years, i was a 6
ОтветитьThank you for answering Chris, I do have one more question, forgive me it's a lot of info and I'm very new to English. Does bridge length have anything to do with BHE? I saw in your BHE vid where you played out a rack that the length looked identical each shot.
ОтветитьHey Chris I appreciate your videos as always, but I have a concerning question. If using BHE,do I need to compensate for deflection on my OB at all? If no could you explain why not? Thanks again for all your wonderful content and expertise in billiards.
ОтветитьWhy do you prefer backhand English first? Seems to me it is a lot easier using it all the time. Please answer this question for me, your usually correct but I need to know. Thanks steve
ОтветитьThis was so helpful!
ОтветитьI have been shooting for probably 50 years and never realized how I was adjusting side spin. That is until now when I saw this video. I recommend anyone who is shooting or who wants to learn to shoot watch Chris's videos. Thank you Chris for clearing things up for me and the people that I talk to.
ОтветитьVery helpful videos. I am not 100% sure that I understand the aiming technique for front English. Could someone please explain it to me?
ОтветитьBingo Chris! Thank u Christopher, this is by far top 5 of my favorite pool lesson video I’ve ever watched.
ОтветитьThanks Chris
Ответить👌👏👏
ОтветитьMore! I am struggling with low side spin, can u do a video on side spin with low?
ОтветитьFor a beginner your lessons helps a lot. Thanks for sharing your tips.
ОтветитьIt would have been interesting to see where the cue ball would have hit on the side rails if you would have demonstrated two tips of left and right side English. I am thinking it would hit pretty close to the respective side pockets.
ОтветитьIS EVERY BLACK GUY CALLED LITTLE------something? LOL!!
ОтветитьJust curious, why wouldn’t you use backhand English all the time instead of front hand English. there would be know need for adjusting you aim? I’m sure you have a great explanation. Thank you steve
ОтветитьYou are the very best at explaining on what your teaching. Your so easy to understand, not like uncle Dave. Thank you steve
ОтветитьHi Chris, I liked your later video which was about BHE only. However, your explanation of FHE here was in fact no explanation, just something you say you sort of picked up as you played. If you watch Dr Daves' explanation of FHE you'll find out that it's very similar to his, and your, explanation of BHE. That is, with FHE the cue is pivoted just as with BHE, but this time the bridge hand is moved to do so. So both BHE and FHE both have a pivot, in the case of FHE it is much longer and seems more stable and just as accurate as when using BHE. It would be great if you did an FHE only video, just as you did with BHE. I'd very much like to see what happens. I don't have the resources myself. All the best.
ОтветитьVeey nice
ОтветитьThanks for a clear and to the point demo on cue ball spinning.
ОтветитьThank you very much.
More tutorial pls?
