ОтветитьThe customer was wrong, but Veronica's attitude is also wrong, IMO.
She doesn't have to accept being yelled at, but she should calmly tell the customer that she will disconnect if she doesn't calm down.
It's great to stand up for yourself, but Veronica has an attitude that she's always right. She isn't, IMO.

ОтветитьVeronica is right in many cases, but the arrogant and unnecessarily challenging way she acts is a bombshell for any working relationship. The smart-alecky tone she employs doesn't help either. I recently fired a real-life Veronica, a good worker, but also a complete asshole. I was relieved of a huge burden in my life.

ОтветитьMy sister worked for the Time Warner call center. She had to talk to a women working at the TW call center an hour away. The women told her they couldn't leave the building for lunch that night because a guy said he was going to go there and stop her heart from beating. The scary part is he wasn't joking. The police caught him in the parking lot that night

ОтветитьI guess there are people like these that most of customer service people are so dying when they answer the call lol they are so done already from the top of the call, the first thing they say “this is so and so, how can I help you?” The tone of voice when they say it is like they cannot wait to get over this lol So I start saying my reason for calling and even before I say two words, they go “your name and account number.” Not even please lol so I just follow along… i get it that the job really sucks because of all these rude people but as a non rude customer, it also sucks when the service person answers with the most disgust 😅
