Had this sleep study last night. Didn’t work! What a piece of crap. Waste of time. And a $90 co-pay for no results. Don’t use this because it’s a joke. Going to have a real sleep study in a sleep center. This device doesn’t work.

It has been horrible. . I get the lights to stop blinking and then when I get comfortable one of the 3 lights start blinking...this is going to be my worse night of sleep

Worst experience ever. I probably slept for 3 maybe 4 hours. I wonder how accurate the test will be and if I should tell them I only slept for that long.

Some folk have no issues with insomnia but I do along with nerve issues in my feet and I found it very uncomfortable, after having the device for 3 days on two separate occasions I was recently told yesterday I could try it again if I wasn’t successful the first time, heck I thought it was a one time one shot deal. Nobody told me I could rotate the box around considering I’m a stomach sleeper. I’m done with it! Not enough data on either try

The effort sensor or belt around my chest is just flashing red. Every once in a while it flashes green. I have really big boobs and I wonder if I’m wearing this in the right spot for a woman. All of the videos I’ve seen are of men assembling the equipment. I’m immensely uncomfortable and I notice when I have my left arm down by my side on top of where the cord attaches to the belt, it flashes red again. I am so anxious worried about this test not even working that I can’t sleep.

This is the first time my husband is using this machine. We're getting a little frustrated as the left lower light on the box keeps blinking red. I try to readjust it, it will turn green for a bit, then goes back to red. Not sure this is going to work or give an accurate result.

Very helpful video. I found this to be very easy to use and was comfortable for me. I couldn’t tolerate the CPAP machine. I kept removing the nose piece off in my sleep. They made me an oral appliance that juts my jaw forward so this was to test if the appliance is working.

Looks better than sleep studies of old, where you get fitted with a bunch of wires on your head and parts of your body. Plus, you do it at home instead of some weird place with a camera on you.

I really would like it if they had a woman demonstrate the Alnea Link Air, as well. Do we place the belt ABOVE or BELOW our breasts? Yes, it fastens around the chest but just above the bust ir just below? And I didn't think to ask before I took the device home!

Confusing and frustrating. Belt was twisted and attached to the effort sensor where the ingoing tube was bent. Tried to straighten but without much success. Whoever put it together was not very precise. The recording was too fast for someone unfamiliar with terminology. I thought it would be a good thing doing this at home but not sure, will see in the morning. 😕😟🙁☹

This device isn't working. There are broken prongs on the oxygen meter plug. Doctor's office is closed so I hope they can still get info with the oxygen meter being broken.

Can this machine detect muscular problem or the machine can detect of its muscular not just the soft tissue or tongue problem?

Doing this test was awful for someone with insomnia anxiety and claustrophobia. Had like 3 panic attacks before my mom recommended sleeping medicine. I would have not been able to do it at all without knocking myself out. I am a stomach sleeper and i just wasn't able to sleep on my stomach i slept on my back because of the medication. Without sleep meds i cannot sleep any other way than my stomach.

I don't think it worked at all! I couldn't sleep with all that crap attached to me and the equipment is old and busted up! The red LEDs for the white thing attached to the belt and the nasal tube kept blinking all night long!

I hardly slept at all with this thing on. So uncomfortable and I have trouble sleeping anyway so that didn’t help. The light was green in the morning though, so I hope it got enough data. Sending it back today.

I agree with another poster further down. You need to explain the process for women to put this on. We're all various sizes, so one size does not fit all. Just sayin'.

What a nightmare device! You know it's now 2023 and we actually have low latency Bluetooth. Every one of the sensors could easily be connected via Bluetooth.
My night started off hooking up all that crap up with all green lights on. About 2 hours later I woke up to two blinking red lights. Apparently I pulled the hose that goes to your nose off. So now I'm paranoid about having to redo the test and I'm constantly checking the device for red lights. I probably slept for 4 hours. Hopefully it was able to record important data. I'll know in a week or so.
But seriously. There is absolutely no reason to have all these hoses hanging off of you. If this system was wireless you would be way more comfortable and likely record better sleep data.

I am going to be doing a sleep study. I sleep with a fan every night. Is it okay to have my fan blowing on me while i sleep?

I completed my in-home study this morning. It was easy to assembleand use. The video was very helpful.

Can the test be done when you sleep on your side? Do you have to sleep on your back? Also what about going the bathroom in the middle of the night?

Probably the worse sleep i’ve gotten in my life taking this test, if you are a side sleeper or like me and sleep on your stomach then get ready to get terrible sleep in fear that you might end the test from unplugging something.

Did my test the other day. Everything went smoothly. Happy to report I have no apnea whatsoever. Sadly this doesn't explain why I suffocate in my sleep sometimes...

Great now I have to put band aids on my cheeks where I have psoriasis. This will feel absolutely horrible tomorrow morning.

I can't believe that resmed would produce such a low quality system. I have tried calling the 888 number and I get no answer. Very dissatisfied.

I'm honestly super confused as to why I was given one of these. I have restless leg syndrome, not sleep apnea.

I’m about to take this test and I just don’t know if I’ll be able to curl up and sleep and I usually do with all this strapped and attached to me. I’d have to be completely exhausted 😮😮😮

Just can't understand it, the red light attached to my finger, never turned green.

My red light attached to the finger thing never turned green. It kept flashing red. I tried to adjust the connection but there was nothing to adjust. It is attached properly. Not sure what to do.

I just done a sleep study with this machine and I found it to be very difficult to sleep with it, the nose unit made my nose itchy and having wires and the machine on my person made it hard for me to stay asleep.

I have to return this today. What if all the lights are out when I get up in the morning after the test?

What does this mean? Did I mess it up? I Tried to end the recording by pushing the power button the next morning, but the test complete light did not indicate either green or red. It was just blank. After pushing it a few more times, all of the lights went on red and then finally the test complete lit up green. In total I probably pushed the button five times.

If I turned off the device with a successful test but then accidently pushed the button again, will that have erased my test?

I used this machine last nite and woke up to the red light under the test complete.

Video mentions nothing about Bluetooth devices that may be in the bedroom. Will this cause interference? If so, it should be mentioned in the instructions.

Agreed. A video for woman is a must with the placement of the device.

One thing I find interesting is this video and the instructions from my doctor do not talk about sleep positions. I'm normally a side, face sleeper, and I CANNOT fall asleep on my back. I wonder if this will affect results..
